This guy and his old school mentality. Proudly letting Nigerians know how lazy he is when it comes to investing for the government. Imagine the confidence in announcing the sale of the collective assets of Nigerians which could better the lives of the people if well managed.

Shame on you Atiku and your old school mentality. You'll not see the presidency.

Akotileta baba! You did it before and still planning to sell our collective assets when elected as president. In Sha Allah, you won’t be president
I'm not an Atiku person. I'm fully obidient. Privatisation is actually the way to go in saner climes but in Nigeria? Nah! I don't trust this guys.
It was Atiku who sold government assets for pennies and kobos to his friends and associates.

We won't take it!

This man still being loud on privatizing everything. Who are you going to sell to? Your friends? Based on their capacity or man know man? At a give away price?
does it matter? If it working now or in the lazy 60yrs.look at banking, airlines, schools and GSM. Private is always better

The Only Thing Pa Atiku knows is Privatisation. He would sell EVERYTHING to his cronies. He said openly that he would convert ALL Federal Universities to state Universities. Educational Standard that is already low will crash completely. Expired ideas
Can he handover his American University of Nigeria to the Adamawa State Government to manage?
Wen the assets are with federal government, what are the benefits?

Is it not better if he sells them to the cronies and be functional than be with govt and not ffunctional? at same time spending billions of naira for salaries and allowances for redundant civil servants working there.

Go and do research of billions of money spend monthly for people working in all Nigeria refinaries. "

Ole jatijati, the ones you privatized some twenty years ago no get head. We are still suffering it. You sold them to your friends and cronies who in turn sold the assets gave you your commission and pocketed the rests. Have forgotten that there was NITEL before MTN, ECONET, GLO etc. NITEL also bidded for GSM networks but was destroyed during the privatization process. MTN is cashing out at the detriment of NITEL.
nitel was govt run. Mtn and Co thriving. Name one thing they privatized that is not working

In essence, Atiku wants a weakened state. He wants a Nigeria so weak that it is his oligarch friends that would inevitably run every sector and expand the capitalist exploitation of Nigerians.

In the end, an Atiku presidency would have privatized our security and military services, and even our customs services.

In a nut shell,he wants a laizers fare government.

Omonieme:
Privatisation of key national assets is in itself not a bad idea. Its actually what we should do in Nigeria. Either total privatisation or concessions to the private sector. The public sector is too riddled with corruption and inefficiency to adequately run any meaningful service. The problem dear Alhaji Atiku is, can we trust you to sell to the most capable hands and not to your friend and cronies?
Who cares.
If they are not capable no money for them
What you should be worried about is private monopoly with govt backing

But competition from other Parties will check such foolishness

Can we trust that the privatisation process would be fair?
Life is not fair
But the market settles all eventually

On what basis should we trust you on this particularly when your past privatisation of key national assets as a VP isn't much to write home about?
Name what was privatised

You can't

I still sell cars and I know for a fact I've got the perfect car at a reasonable price for you. Click on my profile and confirm this yourself. I'll Be waiting for your call for inspection when you're done

What of niteL is it not working?

Meanwhile, even if Ajaokuta and NEPA are not working, they are still far better than when they are with govt.

NEPA now pay taxes to govt.

Govt no longer pay salaries and allowances to people working thr.

I will advise you to go to govt establishment and see how Nigerians are running Nigeria aground.

What we want Is Sharia System of Government. The more you keep funding your government with interest base loan the more we will be going backward as a nation. What did you expect when your Lord is at war with you for running your government base on what he has commanded you not to do. Go and look at the life of individual who live their life on interest. It's from one problem to another. During the time of Abraham, Noah, David, Solomon there was no democracy they run the system of government base on the laid down rules of the Lord and everything was fine. Let's go back to Allah. Only if people know the beauty of Sharia. But people only see the punishment side of it but they don't see the Justice side and Equal rights of it.
