It's the audacity for me. If this were to be South Africans or Algerians claiming this, then I would have little to say, but Kenya? my god.
grin At times you just come to this thread for the laughs.

When and where do you see kdf and nigeria army competing?
As African giants - why dont you fly to Somalia or DRC - and restore peace?
Please compare Nigeria milita with fellow milita - boko haram
I think it possible in our liftime - KDF will come to Nigeria to restore peace.
We handed over KANU to nigeria...soon after we are done with DRC.
You very likely candidate for KDF to come and resolve another biafra fiasco

The army is not power - it's soldiers - saudi arabia has bought any shiet they can get -but cant fight

samorobo:
You are a fool,I get it you are slow so I will reiterate it and put it straight . Your military is a butt of empty joke compared to anything in Nigeria. I would rather argue the sun doesn’t exist than arguing Nigeria vs kenya in terms of military strength or power. The obvious winner is Nigeria.

No you come this thread because you're spooked. You have mental dissonance because you've been ignorant all your life. Your poor Nigerian education didnt prepare you for wordly kenyans.

All your life you've swallowed the lie that Nigeria is the giant of Africa smiley until you met Kenyans online

Shout, argue, make all the baboon, monkey and bonobo noises and grunting you can. But Nigeria army would NOT be defeated by Boko Haram if it was proffesional army.

LEARN FROM KENYA.

Kenya we have to thank people like Gen Daudi Tonje
https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/commentary/article/2001370813/new-kdf-boss-must-not-disappoint-daudi-tonje
Tonje, wrote Daniel Opande, had vision that many officers lacked. In reforming the military, he introduced gender equality, abolished wage payments, started health insurance for the military and struggled to cater for veterans’ interests . In addition, Tonje, the “grand strategist”, dreamt of building critical policy-making masses. He persuaded Moi to establish the National Defence College as a top multi-sector regional military and civilian training organ for safeguarding national interests. He made Opande, with peace-keeping experience in Namibia, Mozambique, and West Africa, the first Commandant.

NDC association

Tonje retired in 2000, after four years as per his rules and Joseph Kibwana took over as CGS. All the subsequent CGSs, and most of the service commanders, have had NDC association and know the “Tonje rules” of military etiquette and governance.

He should meet KOT on twitter; he will be send to Siberia or handed over to Boko Haram. These are most deluded folks who believe Nigeria is all that while sweating like a pig in small room in Lagos without electricity.

Majority of these bonobos cannot even compete with primary kid in Kenya.

We really have to be grateful that our education standards have always been high. That is what make kenya exceptional.

It only in such forums you meet the most dense people - otherwise in kenya forum - IQ is way HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGh

Why would Boko Haram even exist if you have proffesional, well trained, well educated army. SURELY.
What you need is Tonje moment - because you have to fight with YOUR BRAIN

Tonje retired 23yrs ago but remain revered - his gift - was his brain - always top in class

Few soldiers make lasting and memorable impact. They often do things for the common good because those things need doing. They care for the ‘commons’ rather than for individual advancement but, in so doing, they inadvertently advance their interests in terms of positive legacies.

One Kenyan soldier fits this bill well. That is Daudi Tonje.

Gen (Rtd) Daudi Tonje, one of the celebrated KDF officers, carried out a revolution in the military. Introducing professionalism, merit and world class standards that endures to this day.

stop capping nonsense,
If I decide to post Nigerian military success home and abroad, it will derail the thread.

We were in Goa in DRC long before Kenya even had a military,
The Nigerian military were the soldiers that took over from the US during the 'black Huck/Alshabab period when the later failed in their mission. We were among the first countries that formed
UNISOM(United Nations mission in Somalia).
We fought in Somalia, Sudan, and DRC/ZAIRE.

As far back as early 60s we were already in DRC then ZAIRE.

We drove a sitting president away from Gambia when he refused to relinquish power to his successor in 2018 and secured it with our special forces. Our Navy entered by sea our air Force jet patrolled the skies of Gambia. And our army we're on ground to fight, the president had to run.

We almost single handedly liberated Liberia and Sierra Leone during their Civil war. Go read up the battle for mammy Yoko.

We only recently pulled out of UN missions when we needed our experience men to deal with ISWAP in the sahel region and Boko Haram, and indeed they ha e been defeated.

Kenyan military just entered foreign missions and have tasted the sweet money one gets from fireing countries, so you seem to like it like a new wife, don't worry even Ethiopia at some point was the highest contributor to UN in terms of soldiers. But now, no one is interested except Kenya.

Whatever you think you have or are doing, the Nigerian military does it x5.

Facts? From an idiot who argues that Angola uses Kwacha? You are mess and a disgrace to Kenya and the negro race.
Oxymorons may seem illogical at first, but in context they usually make sense - you need to be intellectually fit to fathom it
Your shallow cognitive ceiling point is still proving itself. Zombie can't distinguish the use of Oxymorons and juxtapose them in a sentence.
Kwanza and kwacha are twins... They all have a terrible history.
I can say a Ghanian kwacha--- not because I have no clue about the cedi, but through juxtaposing the instability of both currencies --- I can blend it to make an oxymoron.

You must be terrible upstairs.

Is Kenya minimum wage comparable to our market rate?

Ghanaians are not the one whose faces are being used to appeal for funds globally as poverty ravaged.

Logistic performance index proves us otherwise - Kenya is doing better than Nigeria despite her 4 times Kenya's population.

Budget-wise, if we go per capita way, then we beat Nigeria by far.
Men in uniform mean nothing! Uganda has more military men than kenya, but they obey our rule.

Being in DRC means nothing. Stop M23 then we can talk.

Kdf has captured one of the most dangerous city in Somalia - Kismayo(Alshabaab hotspot). Not even Americans dared; we went there with brain and strategy - majority of African military lacks that.

Kenya only entered Somalia when the heat was getting close to your Capital. And alshabab had already began raiding Kenyan city. So you had to enter to secure your interest, nothing special.

Al shabab was wrecking havoc between 1970- 2005. Your military was joyriding. They did nothing. We had to initiate operation "Linda inji" ( protect our land) cos the militia were becoming too much! The day we deployed our military in Somalia, peace has since been restored. Yes, the action was quite consequential, but we're now enjoying peace.
