mastersammy:Bro please just say a cheap way of entering the country. Is there a cheap university around some Nigerians are going to? Is there a short diploma one can do for now and then move directly to a University? I'll really appreciate. I have only $4k for everything. Including rent and flight. So I'm just looking for cheaper way to enter the country. Which path do Nigerians that don't really have that crazy money pass to enter the country? Please don't ignore. It's important so I can make my final decision. |

Ertugrul:I'm sorry I don't have information about both schools to help you navigate your choice, it's only my school I have information about them. But if I'm to recommend, I suggest you for for Middlesex, the school is kinda popular for here sha. You can make more research online about both schools and gather your public review about them, then that way it will help you to choose among them |

mastersammy:Well said.. I've been following this thread... You know life is what you make of it. I still dey chill for UK, man pikin go enter Grand baie next month as cold wan frustrate my nose. If Mauritian currency was a bit strong like that of the West, I will choose Mauritius. Its too busy in the West that's why these whites relocate to Mauritius. Mauritian passport being second strongest in Africa after Seychelles equally means their permit is strong too. If you don't have a plan, you will get stuck in Mauritius. |

mastersammy:please, how much is flight ticket from Nigeria to Mauritius? Does any of the universities have exchange programs like Erasmus with other universities in Europe? I'm glad to know that there is abundance of job opportunities in Mauritius and the fact that one can work and study at the same time and earn up to 150k a month even as a student and that's a huge deal cus in Nigeria here, to get a job of 150k in a month even as a graduate is a herculean task. Also, I hope the tuition deposit is refundable if visa is not granted. Please I'll be glad if any of the gurus in the house can throw more lights on the foundation course in i.t. cus I think i.t. is gradually taking over |

Has Anybody done police clearance lately? |
| Re: Mauritius Study And Work by mastersammy(m): 10:40am On Nov 29, 2022 |
Kreemak:Flight ticket down here is expensive, you can get between 600k to 800k or even less. I don't know about other schools in terms of tuition deposit refund just in case. But in my school, you don't need to pay anything until your visa comes out, even application fee is free. It's only when your visa is approved that you will pay your tuition fee |
| Re: Mauritius Study And Work by mastersammy(m): 10:42am On Nov 29, 2022 |
Ertugrul:Well what I will advice you on this is change another course because no embassy will grant you visa that extends the duration of your passport validity So switch to another course that is either 2yrs or 3yrs, that way there will still be months left in your passport validity. |

Ertugrul:Yes I did police clearance... you can do that police clearance online... if you go in, those guys will be charging you 45k or more, when the actual amount you pay is 30k and you'll just gobin there for capturing. You can monitor the progress online. |

Princessdainty:The money you go make washing plate go pass person wey dey work for office for Nigeria... plus if you go U.S na common jobs like that most people do to even build house for Naija. The Idea is go there with a plan. You're not washing dishes forever. Any country you go to. There has to be a plan. |
