I wonder why the rice revolution in Nigeria is Killing you. We could no longer continue to be a heavy importer of a commodity we could produce locally thereby piling more pressure on the naira. With time the price would come down.

But we got to start somewhere. Now investments in rice Mills are all over the place. Those who used to import rice into Nigeria are going into processing now thereby creating jobs. Think of the multiplier effects.

On multidimensional poverty, if after all the lies and cooking of data Kenya still has about half its population poor, then the true numbers must be very staggering. No one takes data from Kenya seriously, a country where common people can no longer afford rice.
