This is so weird and wrong. Family is supposed to grieve as one. She (or whoever is behind the handle) should be grieving too for the loss of a brother.
She is not in a place to console their father, being that she should be mourning too. Who will console her?
It is pretentious to act like you care when there is actually no genuine sympathy.
