Peter Obi Is Stopping South East From Producing NIGERIAN President In A Long Run by Zakiman(op): 10:24am On Nov 26, 2022
THE PETER OBI DEBACLE

It is no longer news that the erstwhile running mate to Atiku Abubakar in 2019, Peter Obi is now a confirmed Presidential candidate of the Labour Party having unceremoniously left the PDP some months ago. A lot has gone under the bridge with an unprecedented social media campaign by his supporters coining a cliche for themselves, Obidients. From a small voice, their voices could be heard reverberating all around the country especially on the social media. They gave him a larger than life image talking anybody down who dares challenge them.
They are lords of the social media and spin doctors already giving the Presidency to their master. Any kind of argument against their movement was seen by some them as sacrilege.

While some of them see it as the turn of the South East to be in Aso rock, to some, it's a Chriatian agenda. This went on for as long as he strode the land talking economics like a lecturer in an auditorium. From his body language, one could tell he knows he won't be President. He however, enjoys the attention and love he is getting wherever he goes ( who wouldn't?), until a bombshell dropped. His own homeboy and governor, Charles Soludo told the whole world in a long epistle what he thought of him and clearly told him what some of us already knew, that Mr Obi, you know you won't be President. This expectedly, caused an uproar amongst the die hard fans of his. All manner of names were hurled at Soludo. But the subject himself did not seem irked because he knows the truth has been told. They recently met at a church programme, shook hands and embraced to the amazement of the people present. Such is the the knowledge of the truth, even though it hurts, but it saves a lot of pain.

The argument that Obi is a Christian candidate is the most irritating. The PDP has handed the ticket to 2 Christian Presidency candidates before. The APC has not, and may not do so in a long time. This time around they even have 2 muslims running for Aso rock simultaneously, an act perceived by many Christians as disrespectful.

It is my opinion that from the emergence of Peter Obi, one can deduce that politics in the country has become tribalistic because the other two frontline candidates are from the other two giant tribes. Thus, those tribes are bound to support their own leaving the south south and north central to be the swing zones. This kind of political arrangement was last seen in the first republic which caused the events that led to the civil war of 1967 to 1970 culminating in the deaths of millions of people, mostly Ibos. Since then, there has been an advocacy for only 2 very strong political parties. Little wonder IBB introduced his two party system, SDP and NRC. People like IBB will know exactly the red flags of a 3 party system having fought in the war himself.

It will be a needless debate to say that Obi can be President due to clear indices and parameters for any political analyst to see. Neophytes in the political turf will argue unnecessarily though but that is not the essence of this write up. If the PDP loses this election, the South East will be on a long run, and this is possible but not probable because most Eastern votes may go to Obi thereby weakening the stronghold of the PDP. Albeit that is not completely correct now because the PDP has only 2 states (Enugu and Abia), while the APC has 2 (Ebonyi and Imo) and APGA 1 (Anambra). If the APC wins, they will surely return the ticket to the north, keeping out the SE for another long spell. But if the PDP wins, they won't have any choice than to take the ticket to the SE having taken it to the SW, NW, SS and NE as it were. Obi should know this if he is not blinded by his fans. The truth and hard fact is, Obi is an albatross to the SE in the present circumstances and anybody can see that without prejudice. Therefore, the SE must agree with Soludo and do the right and proper thing for their future.

Una go tire.

The dislocation of the political permutations of the established political actors in the PDP and APC by the Obidient Movement is no doubt a serious blow that may have led the two forces into the personal attacks that we now see directed against Obi.

If kwakwaso of NNPP sees the possibility of him winning the election. Then I won't be surprised at whatever permutations anyone has to give about his preferred candidate. At the end of the day they are just permutations based on past trends. The political dynamics in this present age have changed.
**Giving the current voting and voters accreditation process (BVAS), and electronic result transmission.
**New voters coming in.
**Over 2 million duplicate voters disqualified,
**Choice of running mates of various candidates, muslim-muslim ticket for the APC, division in the PDP camp, two strong candidates coming from the north with highest vote turnover.
**Disappointment of most Nigerians in the present government.

I really don't see how your pamutation puts all of these factors into consideration.

How many hours did it take to put down all these OP? You really tried oo. Have you read the Novel titled MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING? Go and read it. That's my response to your epistle. Please leave obi alone and focus on your candidate, in your best interest. All these are late in coming already.

Ibos and politics are two parallel lines that will never meet, obi presidency contest which He will never win and He can't win will bury the igbos political dreams finally in nigeria.
This is how the coward called Ojuchukwu deceived them into a war which poor and the gullible igbos were killed in a million.
Obi is not helping igbos or himself but he was only deceived by Doyin okupe, PA Adebanjo and obasanjo. Those old men mention above are secretly working for Tinubu.

So why are you so pained Peter Obi is contesting?
Why ain't you bothered that APGA have a candidate too,why Obi own come take be your wahala?
GEJ used SS turn and that is it and SE must surely have their own turn as far Nigeria is concern.

Ewu kotima na Ara nne ya tutu, ehihe na abali. Ozu nwuru anwu. I don't need to swear anything. You are not worth it.

Peter Obi cannot win. He knows this. Peter obi will only consolidate Tinubu's votes. Tinubu will rule you for 8 years and hand over to a northerner to rule for another 8 years while you wait and wail.

Ozu.

Among 18 contestants only one person will win so why are you bothered about Peter Obi losing with 16 other candidates that will include either Atiku or Tinubu?

Nkapi you are not worth my swearing. Don't overate yourself.

Because Peter obi could have dropped his stupid ambition for the greater good of the igbo nation but he is greedy enough to want to jeopardize that.

Either that or Tinubu paid him for this show of shame.

What did wee get from voting PDP nothing south east is suffering today because of PDP

If PDP think our politician are stupid we the people are not. They are very lucky obi is contesting if not we go just go give our vote to APC so we can help send them to a point of no return.

To hell with PDP.

How can you gave your ticket to a man who abandon you and run to Dubai a man who helped APC to remove you from power a man who call PDP all kinds of name.

PDP is dead and will be buried after 2023
My Problems with 99% of Obi Supporters is they are not Politicians neither do they know what is Politics.

IAM telling u from today just mark it, by God's Grace u will be shocked to see Even TINUBU finishing ahead Obi when ATIKU is been declared Winner, by then we can talk because I believe by then u can seat quitely and learn and learn what is called (Politics).
