Street credibility is a grassroots term that describes how highly a person or group is regarded by the average person on the street. It is known as branding for cooperative organizations. When you have street cred, you have an advantage over your competitors.

As the general elections approach, the amount of acceptability by the public may be judged by how well the candidate was received by the people; the reception is important since it indicates how sincerely one is loved by the people.

A fortnight ago, the APC launched its massive presidential campaign flag-off in Jos. Since then, the train has travelled to Imo, Ebonyi, Delta, and other locations, and it arrived in Lagos yesterday.

Ordinarily, the rally in Lagos wouldn't have been much different from the ones that had already been hosted, but because it was the City Boy's homecoming, it was made extra special, as evidenced by a large number of APC governors and top party leaders from all across the nation that attended.

Tinubu was returning home, and it was expected that, like the triumphal entry, his people would gather in large numbers to welcome him. It was the fulfilment of a prophecy that one day, the City Boy from Lagos would govern Nigeria and make it a global centre of excellence.

Tinubu and his team rode into the Teslim Balogun Stadium in an open air bus with thousands of locals who had lined up on the streets leading to the rally's venue. It demonstrated humility in his arrival, and it came with a message of Renewed Hope, a Nation laced with prosperity and magnificence. Tinubu drove into the hearts of Nigerians, convincing them that their country will be great.

Tinubu has long been considered as a defender of the underprivileged and a stabilizing force in the country.
