Soludo Calls For Mainstreaming Of Technological Innovation As National Policy, Declares Anambra Home Of Innovation

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has called for a National Framework for the development of innovation and technology.

The event had the theme, "Promotion of Local Inventors of Science, Technology and Innovation."

According to the Governor who appreciated the Senate committee for organising the National workshop in Anambra, stated that the state is the home and appropriate place for innovation, science and technology in the country.

He pointed out that technological innovation is fast becoming the way of life, as people are trying to play catch up and disclosed that the automotive industrial park in Anambra is almost up and running.

While declaring his administration's readiness to give neccessary support, the Governor further revealed that his administration is already mainstreaming Science, Technology and Innovation, saying that part of the vision is to make Anambra the digital tribe destination.

Governor Soludo who disclosed his passion about empowering the youths, canvassed for patronage and promotion of inventions and innovations by the government and people, stressing that if people innovate and invent and nobody patronizes them, it becomes a nullity and the jobs are in most cases, shifted abroad.

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo who was represented by the Minister of State for Science and Technology, Henry Ikoh described the event as a unique platform that offers opportunities to rebrand the technological ecosystem, emphasizing that it is the path towards bridging the gap between the poor and the rich and shifts emphasis on production rather than consumption.

Almost everyone in imo state is useless, backward and barbaric, that's why millions of imo indigenes are running to Anambra cities to live but you can never find one Anambra indigene living anywhere in imo state.

Imo indigenes lack expose and sense of creativity and aesthetics, that's why Owerri has remained a glorified village littered with dilapidated muddy roads and filthy environment, and this has explained why millions of imo indigenes are trooping to Anambra cities to live.

Almost all the roads in imo state are dilapidated, muddy with open drainage, this has made millions of imo indigenes to continue running to a better developed Anambra to live. Today, more than 2/3rd of imo population are living in Anambra.

Imo state people and their state are cursed

Without sounding unappreciative, I truly hate when these toys are made especially by adults and displayed as some type of "Technological breakthrough".

It just reinforces the notion that black men are inferior mentally and technologically when compared to their peers from other parts of the world.

We should stop this habit of gloating over crudely made toys as some type of "technological breakthrough" for our people!

Looks nice, but look how the structure was built, you would see it was built without planning. It is so close to the main road. If the governor decides to bulldoze the church, people would come and start crying foul. Anambra as a whole needs to have a plan and should be made , such that all other successive governments follow the plan. We need to stop building houses so close to the roads. It's why Onitsha looks so unplanned and why other major towns in Anambra like Nnewi and awka are already treading towards 'unplanned onitsha'
