President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief spokesman, Femi Adesina, has disclosed that his principal can’t wait to leave the presidency.

Adesina explained that being in power comes with a lot of work with little appreciation from Nigerians.

He disclosed this on Channels TV on Sunday night while reacting to Buhari’s remark that he can’t wait to leave power.

In July, DAILY POST reported that Buhari had, in a statement signed by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, described his seven years in office as “tough”.

The president, who said he was “eager to go”, disclosed this when he received some governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC), legislators and political leaders at his residence in Daura, Katsina State, during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

Reacting to the development, Adesina said: “Those of us who have been with him since 2015 are also counting down, we can’t wait to leave.”

On why people want to get out of the presidency, Adesina said: “It’s a lot of responsibility and work, and may be little appreciation of the populace.
“So, by the time you are winding down, you can’t wait to go.

“It’s not a matter of Buhari hurrying out, it’s a matter of constitutional limitation, he has spent seven and a half years.”

Leave now before the naira reach #2000 to the $. If Buhari leaves investors will come. Investors won't invest in a government that has terrorists as ministers.

After destroying the country beyond repair he can't wait to leave office. Some years ago he was crying around when he hasn't gotten the key to the office but now he can't wait to leave right

Under Buhari's watch as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Boko Haram bandits have been technically defeated since 2017. The ones that are still in operation NOW Are been sponsored by enemies from the opposition parties PDP, (LP) Lazy People but God's hand is on Buhari that's why he's govt have changed Nigeria for Good.

APC and tinubu doesn't have to campaign again rather than to be now seeking for a forgiveness from nigerian people's for the calamities they foisted on us

Just imagine tinubu want to rescue Nigeria from the same party and the calamities president he openly said he brings, is that not a stupidity

To be a president is not easy, they thought its by dishing all kinds of promises to electorates

The bitter truth is that Nigeria as presently constituted and corrupted cannot work.
The next 5 presidents of Nigeria will be insulted because Nigerians want Nigeria to turn into London in 6 months.

Obi, Tinubu, Atiku; whichever one of them wins will start getting his insults in less than one year.
