I think this is the World Cup where SouthGate’s pragmatism may actually pay off. Match day 2 with only 2 teams eliminated and only France qualifying for the next round so far tells you the whole approach of everybody. Can’t afford slip ups

My logic doesn't involve 2 players joining the league in the same year. Find another example where the one that joined 6yrs after the other joined, made the team of the year before the former.

We definitely haven't but everyone calls England overrated so the onus is on the so called favs to show us why they are just that.
