saved N500k, bought a laptop, learnt arbitrage, forex and crypto. Learn how to bet too. Although my profits are not consistent, but I'm better than before

I got this salary job, it's my first salary job, our agreement was 60K for the first month then to be increased in the subsequent. Going to work daily in a month cost me 30K, at the end of the month salary was delayed and I was paid 39K, as soon as I saw the credit alert, I took my bag and left.

truth be told average nigerians come online to complain of suffering, but people dont take them serious that is why majority lie to get food money etc.

Honestly, just tendered my resignation letter after another frustraded morning and it was closed to month end. I even wrote that I am not interested in the salary and they should use it as a penalty for my immediate resignation.

Did I regret it? Yes for almost 1year nothing was forthcoming but thankfully, I have an understanding wife who became the bread winner for the whole year. I had to embrace all insults and will even smile through it to avoid see finish.

Lastly, we thank the ever faithful God. One thing happened, after like 5years, my boss came to my office for a contract without knowing I am the owner

The journey was rough but we thank God. It is not what I can advise anyone but you know yourself and just go for what suits you.

What each person saves will be different based on your current earnings, current expenses, and what business can continue to support your recurrent expenses after you quit.

If you earn N1m a month, saving N2m before quitting does not make sense. But if you earn N200k, then N2m is like 10months of salary and can go far when you quit until a new business can provide something close to that monthly income.

So please save up to 10 months+ worth of your salary before quitting any job and channel the money to a business capable of providing such salary.

8k...I nor fit laff...na me they take maths further maths and econs...I go still do machinery for ss3 student for waec..I just woke up one morning and refused to go to work...them call them tire...the vice principal offended me..as them they call I dey dance...conect my phone to bluethoot...begin they dance..on that same morning them they write mathematics by 9am..waec.....over 40 students...people way pass nor reach 8..then I knew that our educational system was in a mess...too many private schs caused this..wat a shame..all this happened in 2007
