Aren't these supposed to be intellectual individuals from various walks of life? How possible is it to fail a nomination exam? I don't understand.

Very shameful how one is grilled and drilled for a mere merit award, or job opening, while those gunning for top political positions in our country are just given a pat on the back and sent to the campaign ground. I believe these potential leaders are the ones supposed to be grilled back to back like this to know their manifestos and plans for the country
