For long time white man theory was African (Ghanian) could only do sprints because it was easy - like Ghanian sitting under a coconut tree waiting for coconut to fall. You just sprint 100m or 400m max. And you're out. If they ask you to run 800m or more youre too lazy or even afraid you might die in the process.

All you do in 100m is to give it your all - power through - no time for strategy.

From 800M it start becoming difficult because you have to strategize...heck 800M is most difficult because it btw sprinting and strategizing...it becomes very technical and you need discipline.

The rest takes lot more discipline, pacing yourself, watching the clock, training harder and name it.
