The larger ZOO Kenya is still undeveloped in all areas ...

Focus on that instead of the constant edge to compare with those better than you

Which ranking? Is there any medal standings for all types of rugby? Show us, please.

You can't say ranking matters by basing your logic on one facet of the entire monolithic activity. No!
I'm talking about the world rugby rankings... Which I've posted here

You are f*king annoying with these cherry-picking antics. It makes you sound obtuse, honestly!
Ranking is based on 15s Main squad... I gave you the link for sevens... You overlooked it. Now you want us to compare our under 20 with Zimbabwe's main team for you to score cheap points, really?

But do you have glaucoma? Look again, don't spare the men on trousers... Count all. This is our under 20 FYI, vs Zimbabwe main.

If you can't see, our under-20 is having 6 whites - only 2 start the match, while Zimbabwe is having a whopping 10 whites.

If you don't know, ask. That is world rugby 15s specifically for men. Zimbabwe came on top recently because they have played more matches than us.

Lemme play your game, Namibia is not even far away from Kenya.

Kenya junior secondary to continue in primary school - more progress towards eliminating unnecessary boarding school obsession. Primary schools to have extra class and labs.

The point is your white population is 0.1% yet your squad is 20% White..... Understand?

You really cant round off humans to nearest decimal point. Those white boys are very rare in kenya rugby. I think that is some random day..not representative of kenya rugby. Maybe the juniors - just off high school - you can get few such.

Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by rvp2018: 3:03pm On Dec 02, 2022
Very good reply I found in Skyscrapper city explaining why Kenya is regional manufacturing giant - to really get extend of kenya manufacturing you might have to add up almost many Africa countries manufacturing because they are mostly done by kenya companies subsdiaries including entire west africa roofing by the comcraft congolemerate.

Kenya is a leading producer of consumer goods in the region, regularly being the largest (or 2nd after Egypt) exporter of such goods to COMESA countries. A large proportion of exports to Eastern and Southern Africa are products like fats, vegetable oils, dairy products, flour, soaps, detergents, perfumes, insectcides, margarines, toileteries, cosmetics, toothpastes etc. These products are largely produced by domestic concerns. BIDCO has factories and warehouses in 16 African countries, Kapa in 12 countries, Pwani in 11, Menengai in 9. Unilever (MNC) produces goods localky for markets in Ke, Tz, Rw, Ug, Burundi, Zambia and Malawi in Kenya, with production of many of its leading products (eg blue band) usually outsourced to local firms like orbit and excel.

The Kenyan textile industry is rapidly growing. Last year, about $350m worth of textiles were exported to the US under AGOA. There were also a significant portion of toiletries, cosmetics, perfumes, toys and sports requisites sold under AGOA to the US, totalling to $550m.

An emphasis also needs to be placed on tea. It is Kenya's largest export, but it isn't shipped out fresh coz it would all rot en-route. It's semi-processed by factories owned by farmers' SACCOs in the production regions. I think the world's largest tea factory is one such plant.

There are manufacturing products, many times exported to largely Eastern and Southern Africa that deserve separate categories. These are
cement - largely from locally owned plants. Stuff like tiles, ceramic toilets, melamine cups and plates, etc that are sold throughout the EAC are usually either Kenya, Chinese, Indian or lately Tanzanian (tiles).
iron and steel - recycled from scrap, but an iron ore smelting and steel rolling mill is u/c in Kenya's coal rich south. Kenya is the leading supplier of iron roofing, rebar steel, stainless steel and many other steel articles to all EAC countries except DRC.
Glass - All forms of glass sold in Kenya, and a significant portion exported to the East, Central and South Africa are locally produces. From wind screens, to safety glass, to tower glass cladding, to glass cups and plates, to glass bottles used by Coca-Cola all over the region, etc.
automobiles and their parts - something like 90% of all light commercial vehicles in Kenya are locally assembled (matatus, Almost all isuzu, Mitsubishi, and hino truck brands), the bodies of most heavy commercial trailers in the EAC are fabricated in Kenya by local firms. Replacement parts like air filters, carburettors, etc are locally produced and exported as far south as Zambia. Kenya has even started exporting chloride exide car batteries to Ghana under the AFCTA.
Electronic products - almost all electronic cables, a leading refrigerator brand (mika), a leading brand of light bulbs, stuff like iron boxes, etc are locally produced or assembled. An interesting note, Kenya's Transcentury dominates the electronic cables markets in Kenya (East African cables), Tanzania (East African cables Tz), DRC (Cableries du Congo), Uganda (Tanalec and EACl ke) Zambia (Tanalec) and is a big player in South Africa (Kewberg cables and braids in Jo'burg) which also serves Nam & Zim And it still owns one of the largest logistics firms in the region (civicon), is the largest shareholder in a mid-tier bank (development bank of Kenya), and owns one of Africa's largest manufacturer of weigh scales (Avery)
pharmaceutical products - mostly generic products sold throughout the EAC, malawi and Zambia. Kenyan brands are the 3rd most common in the region after Indian and Chinese imports, with local brands such as Mara moja, kaluma, quinin, AL being household names in some areas.
Plastics - the likes of Nairobi bottlers produce all Coca-Cola plastic bottles used in East, central and parts of Southern Africa. The likes of Kenpoly, Adix, Teepee, Kpipes, etc, dominate the market for plastic chairs, brooms, cups, plates, stools, drainage pipes, water pipes, etc all over the EAC.
There's also a budding machine goods production scene in Kenya. All hammer (posho) mills, roller mills, a significant portion of fully automatic milling plants of up to 15 t/day capacity, oil presses of put to 10t/days capacity, oil refineries of up to 500kg/hr capacity, rice mills of up to 15t/day, animal feed mills and mixers, water pumps, irrigation systems, stone crushers, borehole drilling machines etc used in Kenya and in some instances exported to the EAC are locally manufactured In places like Kariobangi, Baba Dogo, Lusaka rd etc. Their motors are imported from China though.
Then there's the jua kali sector that fabricates metals. All wheelbarrows, hoes (both hand held and tractor towed), metal suitcases used by high school students, grills for roasting nyama choma & mshikaki, egg and sausage trolleys, popcorn roasting machines, chips friers, etc sold in Kenya, as well as a substantial portion sold throughout the EAC are a product of the jua kali sector. I just wish the government could finance their expansion through incubation programs.
If asked, I'd say Kenya needs to solve the issues of high corruption, high electricity costs, high port charges, unproductive road blocks and more importantly, achieve a broader access to cheaper finances. Increasing the rolling stock on rail lines would also remove the clog on roads as well as lower freight costs. So many small businesses going on in manufacturing and every other sector that could benefit from these.

When one hears useless countries like Ghana or their bigger zoo comparing it's manufacturing with kenya - one just want to laugh. Kenya manufacturing is responsible for many backwater countries manufacturing.

Name any type of manufacturing - kenya companies are one doing it in the region.

Almost all the electrical cables bar cheap chinese ones in east and south africa are made by East Africa Cables.

East African Cables is a premier cable manufacturer, with a footprint that spreads across East and Central Africa. The company has four manufacturing facilities; two in Nairobi, Kenya, one in Dar es Salaam Tanzania and one in Eastern DRC. In addition, EAC is present in Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Southern Sudan and Ethiopia, through a distribution network.
