Soon it's national in all states of Nigeria...they are now a national corp

It expands to Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Niger, Chad,...they are regional

Soon it all over Africa...they are now continental company.

And soon like South Africa SAB - or kenya comcraft - expand worldwide - become MNC

But something like Insurance - Nigeria is completely BLANK

10yrs Kenya companies will be running Africa and Nairobi will become Africa HQ - it will huge mega city - not huge slum like Kinshasasa or Lagos - but huge metropolis with 100 floors building - housing Africa HQ where someone will be managing Mauratania in 1st floor...Nigeria in 10th floor...and South Africa in the 99th floor.

As for Nigeria - it will be sending petty traders to Africa to sell used car spare parts and smuggled substandard products.- while dabbling in drugs and entertaining Africans with intricate dance moves

Kenyans will be sending proffesionals to manage their subsidaries all over Africa - like is now happening in 10 regional countries in almost every sector.

After BUA, Dangote and Globalcom - and few banks - that pretty much your business community - then below them are petty informal traders. Kenya has very extensive business men owning things across the region. It's not just Indians. The kenya-indian are like West African lebanese - born and bred here. But even forget about them...I can give you hundrends black owned companies doing great in the region.

List one by each economic sub-sector. They dont exist. What exist are Igbo petty traders selling car spare parts and such kind of informal business. In kenya almost every sub-sector they are at least 10 regional players.

Fintech - a new thing with ICT - you're doing okay - as good as kenya - just like with banking. Anything else you're NOWHERE. Those are plain old facts. Kenya regional expansion is profound. Only South Africa can speak.

Those companies are pretty tiny compared to let's say Safaricom. Dangote is your only salvation.

As a Matter of fact, before this thread many of us didn't know Kenya was doing so poorly. Of course, I knew it was just another African country, so I wasn't exactly expecting anything tangible. But it shocked me to know Kenya actually had an economy smaller than Lagos economy. I didn't know about mathare and kibera, didn't know we had companies taking over Kenyan companies, didn't know you had people starving like Ethiopians did in the 80s and that your was perennial.

I didn't know Indians owned you. Didn't know our sports even without really taking it seriously, was more diverse than yours, Didn't know you rented your wives to European tourists, etc etc.

If we were dealing with a serious country, you would never have seen a Nigerian here beyond page 1. This thread has exposed your country and the saddest thing is that you have resigned to fate, hence you see nothing wrong with that hellhole. Kenyans are worse than animals.
