My wife's COS took 2 months plus before she got it and when it was assigned the employer still delayed before issuing it. So patience is all you need. Lol

Please I want to ask if a misrepresentation ( marital status ) in my USA visa application few years ago affects my UK skilled worker visa now . In my USA visa application my agent filled married for me of which I was not married then but in my UK application now I filled single because the truth is I'm still single . I was refused a us visa then and I disclosed it in my UK Visa application now . Does this affect me in anyway ?

Here's my own timeline:
I had my interview on 3 Nov. offer of employment on 6 Nov. Submitted police character on 15th, my references responded around same period. They sent a mail to confirm that they will proceed to apply for my cos on 16th (I had to call her to remind her about the maintenance). COS was issued and sent to me on Friday 18 November.
My sponsor is one of the NHS Trusts.

Pls wat shud I go along with for biometrics?

And is it any police station in Lagos?

Evidence of payment, passport photograph and international passport.
I did mine at Ikoyi. I don’t think you can do it at every police station.
I went to Ikoyi because I had done one in the past before the advent of online registration and payment. I took it along with me.

It’s valid for 3months.

Dont u hsve a soft copy scanned some where?? What do u need hard copy for....??

Anyways...u shuld send an email to the test provider british council...they will ask u to write a hand written letter and scan it to them or send it by dhl... u pay the fee and they will will tell u a date to go get it ikoyi....

.... how i got know it can be replaced seff was because i met a girl that came for the replacement copy the same time i went to make certified true copy of my education certificates at their ikoyi office

I'd suggest u send them an email and ask if all can be done remotely and get it sent to u via DHL.

I've gotten job offer ( Care Assistant ) am waiting for my COS is five weeks now, I don't know if it's general delay or is mine alone. The waiting is really frustrating
