In recent weeks Biafran flags have slowly but steadily begun to return to public view in the Southeast. What begun as a movement in the rural areas especially, seems to have diffused into the urban settings as the flags can now be seen flying at Port-Harcourt expressway Aba, areas in Enugu metropolis, Nsukka Town and other locations across the Southeast.

A video which was captured during the Monday sit at home observation in Nsukka Town showed a resident talking happily about the flag now flying in their community.
