The Director of Strategic Communication of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Dele Alake has described critics of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as character assassins.


Speaking on Channels Television, Politics Today, Alake while commending Tinubu’s delivery at Chatham House in the Uk said: “Tinubu proved all the naysayers of negativism, all those who left germane issue facing Nigeria and engaged in character assassination wrong.

“Asiwaju has been applauded and commended by all and sundry. From the report we got, people are saying they never knew he was this articulate, he was flawless”.

Asked why people spoke for him during questions, he said: “That’s one of the innovations of Asiwaju Tinubu. Don’t forget that one of his strengths has been identifying talents and head hunting of the highest order.

“Anybody who knows Asiwaju would know that he’s primus inter pares in team building that is what he showed. Those who are saying what you just said are ignorant of the dynamics of leadership.”


Alake insisted that “leadership is not a one man show! Successful leadership is the one that is based on a team that is professional, and that is management acumen. Asiwaju also answered questions personally and directly.

“He wanted to show the calibre of his team. In fact that style is being copied by some of his opponents. In his address, he spoke for 28 minutes. Nobody helped him to deliver his address. The question and answer was a small part of the engagement.

“He sought to display the dexterity of his team which is also an important ingredient in successful leadership. People must get their priorities right. When you want a good leader and one of the requirements of a good leadership is the ability and capacity to build a strong team that is knowledgeable and strong, that is what Tinubu has done”.

That interview was a disgrace to TINUBU and APC.

Intellectually stimulating. Don't rely on zombidients to appreciate that.
This is why none of them is talking about the policy ideas put forward by Tinubu.
They would rather discuss how Tinubu dropped from the sky and landed on the lagoon.

This is one way you know Tinubu is way ahead of the pack. He is a trail-blazer, a thinker, creative, someone that can think out of the box. Obi and his supporters will not understand this because. Obi had third class in Philosophy. Successful leadership is not a one-man show, it is team effort. Won't be surprised if Atiku and Obi copy his approach going forward but do they have a team? Jagaban will not disappoint.

Tinubu demonstrated impeccable leadership skills worthy of commendation.

You can't shame the shameless. Wake up people, it's time to fight for the soul of this Nation. These demons need to be cast out of our National life. People making reference to some world leaders are really dumb. Tinubu is not a President, but a Presidential candidate. It's not the same and shouldn't be compared. As a Candidate, you are selling yourself to the electorate, but as a President you already have Ministers and cabinet entrusted with such responsibilities. What Tinubu did today wasn't strategic or skill. It was a show of shame, shallowness, and unpreparedness. It depicts intellectual laziness. It is not leadership but rather tomfoolery. You people should keep your hunter of talents rubbish. Why don't we vote for the talents and leave the hunter? How can you vote for hunter and then be seeking for talents to help him preside? How does that even sound? This is how Buhari left the country for Late Abba Kyari and Malami, and the result is what we are seeing today.

So Tinubu traveled all the way to London with his campaign team just to have an interview he would have easily had in his own TVC channel, still he had people answer the questions for him, two things are involved

1. Either Tinubu is feeling too big to be interviewed by Nigerians he wants a Job from

2. Or he doesn't have answers to the questions been asked that he has to delegate his responsibility.
