Ironsi did not say it was bad he said "rigid adherence" to regionalism was bad. So he unified the civil service and retained regional governors. Fajuyi (West), Ojukwu (East), Katsina (North) & Ejoor (Midwest).

Ironsi is not the one that took your oyel money and started siphoning it all to build massive infrastructure all over the north in the name of "Federation account" It was Gowon that did that one to you while keeping the Niger delta poor af and polluting the environment

What are you talking about? Did Ironsi lay workers off? Ironsi appointed a military Governor for each of the 4 Regions, each Military Governor had his secretary of Regional government, commissioners, perm secs etc

The problem of the igbos is greediness. The igbos were the majority in the cabinet of Tafawa Balewa but they were not satisfied, they still went ahead to kill him. The worst part is that the northern leaders that help majority of them to succeed were their first target. The whole Igbo land was in a celebration mood when Tafawa Balewa was killed.

Look at how even Ironsi condemned Tafawa Belewa govt and banned all political and ethnic associations claiming that they were the problem facing Nigeria when it was these land and resource stealing bastards that drew first blood.
