The question you should ask yourself if you're sensible enough, is what has the Apc government done about it despite projecting themselves as the messiah prior 2015 election??

The Nigerian police will continue to kill until we have state police. The Nigerian police training and orientation has not changed since they were instruments of repression. It takes a while to change mentality.

Biden has spoken strongly against police brutality - are blacks still being killed by US cops? Yes. Rishi Sunak is a second generation UK politician and now PM Does the UK still have cases of institutionalized racism in their police force? Yes.

And unfortunately or fortunately only one candidate has espoused true federalism and state police. Let me not inflame you further by mentioning personalities.

At least he has said something we can hold him to. That's better than those so scared of the north, that they refuse to take principled stands for what they belive. Today its China, tomorrow its Bangladesh. Nigeria doesn't need a slippery politician bobbing and weaving to avoid offending anyone.

Restructuring? How can he talk about structuring when he knows that structuring as it stands will involve NASS reviewing the current constitution. How can a party without seats and which is not even contesting in every state talk about restructuring?

PO does not do anything that does not have deniability. In searching for the middle ground vote, he is a chameleon and this is exactly what would stall any presidency under such a man.

I have no regrets for voting buhari. The only people regretting are people without the skills to pivot to new areas of opportunity. This is a presidency that has achieved the most massive infrastructural program in nigerias history in a time that started with low oil prices, in the middle had covid and us ending with global inflation.

Anyone that went to university and suffered have little tears for outside of those that suffered unforseen calamities. We are a lazy entitled people.

This is the first government not to protect the wealthy from the effects of the global economy. Look at ikoyi, VI and lekki house prices that have a negative yield of -18% while Abule egba type real estate and new professional housing has a yield of 17% plus. Which government has provided programs for the vulnerable, new graduates and poor while cutting off rankadede type funds from rich uncles and aunts?

Nigeria has pivoted from easy street to innovate Street and people are complaining. For such people there is no hope unless they mindshift
