I get how annoying it can be when items are posted at over 200% profit but believe me, if you get an item to sell in a market place where there's little or no possibility to compare price, you'll do the same. Not everything is greed. It's just business.

But make una calm down with dragging Alabaconnect like tiger generator on this issue... ...him stating his opinion on the issue doesnt exactly mean he is doing same in his business. Dude has proved his worth over time with very competitive prices. I keep tabs on the 3 major sellers of smart TVs here on Nairaland and his prices are usually unbeatable.

Besides, If a market is overpriced, customers feeling cheated will be the least of our worries. The market will just be attractive enough to entice new sellers/suppliers who will ultimately crash down the price.

This is usually the case when a first-of-its-kind product get launched. We all remember how MTN ripped Nigerians off with high prices of SIM cards and per-minute billing back then, until new guys came into the scene. In fact, Y'all will be shocked at the margins manufacturers make per product...lol

But, ultimately, the onus is on the buyer to do due diligence before purchase. Thankfully, there are now many platforms and ways of comparing prices. If blames will be apportioned, the buyer will get a fair share for not comparing prices before purchasing.

Let me make an instance... Someone called me that his own best wants a laptop that I should deliver laptop of 60k for him after much plead I did deliver a laptop of 70k at the rate of 60k for him, since he is my friend, only to find out that this monster sold same laptop to his friend for 180k. Difference of scammed 120k and his friend wanted to use it to learn Yahoo and he knows nothing about laptop... Only for the direct to bring it back to me after 5months that the laptop hangs slot and it's frustrating and he wants to sell. Baba what I saw on the reciept mad me sef.
I saw 180k and I called my own friend and he told me not to let his guy know how much I sold to him.
