Some of my classmates have been trying to reach me by calling me and sending me messages. They are concerned about me, or so it seems.

They have not been seeing me around, so they are wondering what's up with me.

Should I just tell the few students who asked me, that I dropped out, or I should not tell anyone at all? Or should I create an elaborate post explaining my decision to quit medical school and reasons for doing so, and send it to my class WhatsApp group. So that people will not be spreading false information based on lack of information

What should I do?

Just keep advancing in life. Most of them would judge you as a fool, and use you as an example of failure if you don't succeed in the nearest future. Only a few would understand.

Tell them you have dropped out, and the reason for doing so. You never can tell who will help you sort out whatever issues you are facing. It could be one of your coursemates. There's nothing to be ashamed of. I wish you the best!!

U owe no one anything, not even an explanation for decisions u make in life.

OP take this advice. A time is coming when no one will judge anyone for leaving school.
In abroad, no one judges anyone for leaving school.

I am in the same shoes with you. Though I am trying to see if I can complete my study

Tell them you've dropout simple. You don't owe anybody any explaination. Nobody gives a damn afterall.

Let them know, so they are all aware and nobody can use your details for "shady business" and ruin your reputation... And not leaving out that, If you're the good guy/lady they can gather around and turn up for you, if you know what I mean.
