It's work for kenya cities. You see the central district of Nairobi has zero residences; except for Hilton hotel and one or two who got stuck in town - and are now exiting.

So in the day - it business, offices and the works.

At night - it turn into mad house - sodom and gomorroh - nobody cares - nobody lives there.

You can makes as much noise as you want.

Some bars and clubs recently started moving to estates - and took their loud music - there is now push back to get them all out - and bring them to central business district, westland business district, name it.

So generally nobody feels it because nobody lives there.

In most countries people live inside cities - in Geneva for example - Paquis is where night life happen - and everyone lives there.

Nairobi has crazy night life because - it's office day time - night life night time in business districts.

Skyscrappers immediately people close their offices turn into this - and also explain why kenyans dont go home, change and comeback to club- they empty from skyscrappers into night life - and are finally taken home or drive home.

Kenya has poverty. It has slums. It has very poor people living in remote areas like Turkana.
Slums smells.
But they are only 2.5% of Nairobi landmass.
Now kenya sewage coverage is high. Nairobi is 70%.
Almost every little town in kenya has modern sewage system.

Ghana has better sewage management than the nonsense you run in Kenya that floods your community daily causing you guys cholera yearly.

Ghana has an environmental controlled sewage treatment for all it regions.

A plus for Ghana is the fact that most of it drains are covered.. Kenya can't even provide drains for it communities let alone cover it hence sewage infected water just run openly in your communities hence the pungent smell

First of, Boarding is full freedom for students in Ghana secondary schools(that's where they get their first freedom from parental control) and the nurturing is so good that they grow up to become responsible citizens and not hooligans.

Theres both a positive and negative to this.

The positive side is that Ghana needs that money more than were ever it is invested and the returns the fund will make when invested in Ghana will be huge and the impact will be big.
When Mills and Mahama decided it was wise to invest it abroad away from the volatility of the Ghanaian economy, the NPP strongly kicked against it.

The negative is that the fund is best protested in a safe investment environment. If you expose it to the volatility of Ghana economy, you stand the chance of losing a lot because of people making bad investment decisions with it.

The money should stay there else the govt will use contingency vote to misuse it

No we don't need the IMF infact we have never really needed the IMF in most of the times we've been there but the Ghanaian politician is lazy and hate the political cost that comes with not going .
When ever they want to make tuff reforms, they just sign up to the IMF and use the political cover to make those reforms. This way they can put the blame on the IMF.. quite smart

Ghana's tourism strength is CULTURAL tourism, so the slave dungeon stuff would continue to feature prominently in our package. We only have to spice it up with more experiential stuff, with audiovisual, live slave ship experience in the ocean etc etc. There's a 'ready market' of 50 million plus African Americans, African diaspora etc for our cultural tourism

Ghana's been described as Africa for beginners, we're also the centre of the world (closest country to it), with friendly people etc

We may not be able to match the Kenyas etc in safari tourism but our Mole national park in northern Ghana offers walking safaris next to elephants etc, and things can only get better. Highest waterfalls in West Africa, Wli is a beauty and would draw in large numbers if it's properly developed. Etc etc

And Nairobeans or kenya just head to bar straight from job. Mos t of other countries I have seen - Uganda, South africa , nigeria, ghana - people go home - dress up for the night - which are semi-formal. Kenyans simply empty from office to bar at 5pm. Nairobi from 6-7ish it become a mudhouse - matatus start competing with bars for clients - and by midnight - almost all the bars are emptying out - as people are now drunk - by 3pm it's over. Matatus pick you if you use them and drop you with same loud music, disco lights.

Thank goodness bars in kenya were eventually regulated - to open at 5pm and most close by law by 11pm- otherwise it uses to 24hours of madness - a few have such license. Saturday and sunday they are open at 2pm - otherwise again people use to drink silly 24hrs - some dont even show up home.
