Kenya and civilization are no friends
Because you don't know the deep meaning of civilization.
No country in west Africa should go close to that term.

How do you measure who dress better or worse little girl. And of all the things why is that even important. Deal with serious issues like lack of sanitation in Accra...and reduce the smell. Maybe then you can not only dress better but smell better.
Its not important, I agree with you on that but it's also a fact that uncivilized people don't know how to dress
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by rvp2018: 2:22pm On Dec 10, 2022
But you draw the line of civilization when it come to defecating and dumping raw sewage on the ocean. Kenyans dress the way they want - for their own comfort & happiness - not to please Ghanians- and of all the many problems we have - It's an non issue.

Today I am very free.. I am available to help you waste words.

Lets start with sustainability:

Cities with the best environmetal priactices are capetown, Nairobi and joburg. --- even shambolic lagos is doing way better than Accra.

In 2022, the top 100 sustainable cities of Arcadis are Oslo (Norway), Stockholm (Sweden), Tokyo (Japan), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Berlin (Germany), which took the first five places. While several major cities in Europe or America do not appear in this world ranking, Africa, through Cairo, Cape Town, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Lagos and Kinshasa, is among the best in terms of environmental practices and ecological transition.

Nakuru, mombasa and Nairobi have bigger economy than Ghana. So relax your bum.

On infrastructure, picture speaks volume... You can also find your president to help you understand Ghana's beyond Aid initiative... You have a future to secure; and that future is Nairobi of 1990 as your 50-year dream.
Let me laugh
Go argue with UN-HABITAT
This is their list of the most sustainable African cities and Nairobi score -4
The cities are ranked on environmental governance, sanitation, water, waste , transport, land use, energy and CO2, air quality

Sustainable city index
Cape town
Durban
Joburg
Casablanca
Accra
Tunis
Lagos
Addis Ababa
Alexandria
Cairo
Pretoria
Nairobi
Dar es salaam
Maputo
Luanda

Nakuru is not a city and Mombasa isn't either, according to the UN and their economies can only be compared to Temale.

I think the hobbit that I am waiting for is probably enjoying the ban... Justo40 was suspense for sure --- for his continuous gibberish and word-wasting. I'm not sure about the other moniker -- justo30? I think he has just beaten a hasty retreat or he's busy typing verbiage of nonsensical stuff.

Hobbit, That was for 2007 --- 15years ago. Don't just post anything.
I was 100% sure you will come up with this kind of defensive-nonsensical.

Again, Nakuru was upgraded for a city in 2020 --- our city standards is not the same as Ghana. Accra for instance won't make to be a city in Kenya.

That was 2018 .. I thought you were going to contest it.

See the same on your face... You think your country can just change all of that in 4 years?

Nairobi basically scored 0 and negative in everything.. go and improve before you ever think of comparing that dumpster to even Lagos, let alone Accra.

No, that was in 2007. The year our GDP was $31B. In 2022 --- Kenya is way advance.

More shame

Just 2018 and the issue you're being ranked on are core issues that are structural and your GDP has very little to do with it.

It will take Nairobi 50 years to improve on those stuff and catch up with Accra.

15-year-old report... Who will take you seriously with this kind of disabled information-seeking skills?

You need to expand your horizon of thinking. 15 years ago, Kenya was not dominating in huge indices. We ranked the 5th most dynamic city in the world starting 2019... That is when we started seeing huge progress, both in tech, human, green and infrastructure development.

Before we focus on one aspect, let's introduce others.

Global business city index.

Sounds like a strawman argument to me. You enact a straw man called "credible institution" so you dont face the reality. Projection for next decade is easy - because we already know - south africa will not grow at all or at best just slighly - while kenya will be growing fast.
I'm asking you to cite your debate with an an actual projection from a credible source... That's how debates work......you can't site any since every single organisation shows the opposite of your argument, the IMF, WB, pwc, WEC forum all clearly show SA ahead of Kenya untill at least 2080....by which time Kenya has a massive population advantage
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by rvp2018: 3:07pm On Dec 10, 2022
South Africa Treasury is not credible?
Kenya Treasury is not credible?
They are the most credible and make very accurate medium term projections - not wild projections
Face the reality

Shma2022:
---------------------

Confirmation bias happens when a person gives more weight to evidence that confirms their beliefs and undervalues evidence that could disprove it.
People display this bias when they gather or recall information selectively, or when they interpret it in a biased way.
Confirmation Bias is the tendency to look for information that supports, rather than rejects, one’s preconceptions, typically by interpreting evidence to confirm existing beliefs while rejecting or ignoring any conflicting data

-------------
ironic since I'm citing the IMF, WB, WEC, PWC and you are citing "trust me bro"

Post just one projection that puts Kenya ahead of SA before 2080...or just stfu and accept another L

CNN in 2013 projected Kenyan economy to be $107B, for year 2030-- that is funny right? Cos We passed that Mark at the end of 2020 -- 2 good years ago.

That was CNN... Most reputable. perhaps they didn't know the dynamics of our economy then.

I said that to say this; don't over rely on paper data while ignoring the trend and reality on ground.

Any data analyst will tell you that Kenya will overtake SA in 2030 if all factors remains constant .

the IMF economic outlook was updated October this year.... And you want to compare it to a CNN article from 2013?

Also how is CNN a news site more reliable wrt economic matters than the IMF? You smoking some good sh1t grin
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by rvp2018: 3:14pm On Dec 10, 2022
Okay let halve the "problem".
You're agreed that South Africa nominal GDP by 2025 - will be playing around 380-420B - depending on usd/rand.
GDP per capita will remain stuck - 1.5% growth rate versus 1.2% pop growth rate.

You're agreed that Kenya GDP by 2025 - will be 160-180B.

Once you accept that as baseline - we can proceed from 2025 to 2030.

Then 2030 - 2035.

The economy of Ghana is not just centered in one city like in Kenya where there rest of the country is useless. Ours is greatly spread around 3 cities Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi.

I said don't over rely on IMF.

IMF is not God of projections. Use your brain and analyze the data by yourself. Where were you in 2011 vs now. Where was Kenya then vs now?
What are the economic growth rate trends...

Outside tiny Accra -- which can't make city status in Kenya, what other town have you ever proudly posted?
