This countrys problems are multi farceted! Wahalaa in this country comes from different angles and in different shades. Two dozens people were just killed min the last twenty four hours in just Bauchi and Katsina States by some evil herdsmen and no one is holding the brood of fulani politicians in this country responsible for this carnage. It's as if the country has been finally subdued. Maybe the sons of Dan fodio now have the uncensored license to kill, maim and mutilate at will. As is always the case, none will be arrested and none will be sentenced, even though the security agencies know their hideouts! Yet! Over the last few months, a strident but very divisive attempt has been made to pin the unknown gunmen menace in the South East on Peter Obi, The Labour Party presidential candidate in the next years presidential elections. If you are not informed enough, you would think he is an IPOB founder. Corrupt Newspaper columnists, inebriated Party spokesmen, wayward internet hirelings and bemused partizan hacks have all gone on an overdrive in their ugly and desperate attempt to make it look like Peter Obi is a "secessionist" sympathizer! No stone has been left unturned in this quest. It makes you wonder why the repeated desperation on the part of the South West media in particular and the countrys political establishment in general, to either amplify and generalize the activities of IPOB-ESN or resurrect the warped tales surrounding The January 15, 1966 coup whenever a strong Igbo politician is making inroads in any national political contest. It even starts to overwhelmingly alarm when you take into consideration the fact that those who parrot these jaundiced views, pretend to be brain dead when it looks sensible to tie the gruesome massacres and genocides committed by the Fulani herdsmen to Fulani national politicians who basically control every bit of Nigerias political firmament as we speak! What kind of willful ignorance are we dealing with here? We have witnessed almost a dozen coups in this country.., most of them bloody! But you don't know the ethnicities nor religions of say Bukar Sukar Dimka or one Gideon Orkar! As far as we are concerned, they acted alone and so no attempt should be made to introduce any wayward tribal narratives to their attempted putsch! But such magnanimity would NEVER be extended to Chukwuma Nzeogwu. The notorious Lagos - ibadam expressway section of Nigerias press has done a "wonderful" job of trying to make it look like The Ohaneze Ndigbo came together and sent Nzeogwu to plan a coup. And as such, ever since, it has become a national pastime to assault the sensibilities of ordinary Nigerians with all sorts of exotic tales about how the igbos were/are planning to use the presidency to capture and "dominate" everybody else! Is that not Evil enough? And they do all these by pretending as if they are fighting tribalism! When what they are actually doing is to impose their tribalism on others.. How a nation build her politics on the ceaseless pathological hatred of a very important section of the country and expect to make headways? |

These cowardly people that share the south with us are a just funny. Always putting all their energy to fight igbos and making excuses for the north, even pushing the north to fight the fight when they are scared of engaging igbos directly. |

RestructureNig3:Lol. You assumed I am for Tinibu! Sorry love, to hell with Tinibu. Attack the writer instead for stating that herdmens atrocities should be linked to Atiku and he be held responsible. Forgetting that for every evil herdsmen commit locally, Igbos are doing same equally through drug trafficking and ritual killings in thier locality. |
