LOL!

advocatejare:

Your brought innovation into your religion by putting crescent moon and star at the top of the minarets of your mosques.

Why would I be the one to its origin for you? In as much as none of you is condemning it, it means you accept it wholly!

I asked three core questions with none answered! What I deemed irrelevant from the outset is what you decided to dwell on. Interesting. That shows how extremely smart and brilliant you are, doesn't it?

advocatejare:

Confused Allah slaves, .....will claim that the Torah is lost, another Muslim called LegalWolf is saying that the oldest manuscripts of the Torah is preserved. Who did this to you people?

......

(underlined mine)

I said the oldest Manuscript of the Torah is in Israel. Logically speaking, how does that contradict what AC is saying? Is the oldest extant manuscript the 'original'? Like I asked again, where on earth am I to start from when discussing with people like you? You see why you are not credentialed to talk where we are talking?

Thankfully, I made the right judgment call and it is just best to leave you where I took you from. Strikethrough and delete button all the way!

Oh, so they didn’t know?

They didn’t question why Zakariyau means Yahweh remembers and not Allah remembers?
Who questioned?

advocatejare:

Yahweh, not Allah is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
But do you will agree with me that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob never knew God as Yahwe rather they knew him as EL Shaddai (God Almighty)..

Exodus 6
3. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but My name Lord I was not known to them.

Question: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob never knew God as Yahwe hence Yahwe wasn't the God of Abraham. If we were to be in the era of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and we ask them who their God was they will never mention YHWH since it would be alien to them..

No where in the Quran did Allah made the claim that he is YHWH or not so this thread of yours is only based on assumptions..

If from your assumption you claim Almighty God is not YHWH.

I will also make my own assumption that YHWH is not El Shaddai.

Do you agree that El is a Canaanite God or not?

LOL!

The point concisely stated is simple: you guys are straw manning! You will now wonder where on Earth I should start discussing with you guys on logic. Like, just cruise and pure vibes.

I have three problems with this your assertion, Mr. 'Prosecution TenQ'. First of, you did not answer my simple question which which is whether El, the basis for Eloah, was a Canaanite God or not. This question remains unanswered and I will beg you to answer that question.

Second, you said 'El' is a 'Semitic word' which means deity. This is true, to a very limited extent. In fact, this does not reflect the ancient understanding of the word. Let me invite you to read this interesting research article on the history of the Canaanite religion (and the implication on the Bible as we have it) and let me know your opinion - https://compass.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1111/j.1749-8171.2006.00010.x If you cannot get access, let me know so I can arrange for it.

The point that must be stressed is a very simple one: El is BOTH a personal and generic name for God of the Canaanite and this was transposed to Hebrew! Simple and Short.

Finally, you have gone to bring three proofs that confirms my point:

El - Shadda means El the Most High
Elohim means Gods
El Elyon means God the Highest

So what exactly are you trying to prove with this? If not anything, this conforms that 'El' is a personal name for God in Hebrew so as it was in Canaan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or why is it not Yhwh Shaddai but El? grin

.

Smiles grin

Please where is the source of your proposition that 'Al' in arabic EVER meant god? I am quite curious because I have never come across any source to that effect despite my study of Islam and Arabic. In fact, any authority on both the modern and classical Arabic understanding of the word 'Al' to mean god will be appreciated.

Because, I call myself s "Al-Fulani' or 'Al-Kwarawiyy' at times. Does that mean I am god Fulani or god Kwara? Ehn 'Mr. Prosecution TenQ'?

Ignorant, adamant, and ludicrous rants! Ideally, I should have thrown jabs at you but I want to keep this civil. I had an interesting conversation with a christian and let us see if I can with you as well. So, please let us know your 'evidences' to us sir grin

Modified: Just to restate the questions you have attempted :
1. Was El, who the Jews derived ELOAH or its plural variant Elohim, a Canaanite God or not?
2. Where is your source that 'Al' ever meant 'god' in both classical or modern Arabic ?

Two further questions to consider that Advocatejare ran away from:
3. Do you know that quite a lot of biblical scholars (I’ll want to express the opinion that they are almost unanimous) are of the view that yhwh was originally a son of EL/ELYON/ELOAH ?

4. And if you do not know this, do you know that the original version of Deut 32: 8 - 9 originally read “ according to the number of the children of El” and not Israel?

1. You Muslims use Allah both as a proper name and a generic name for your deity.
2. The Jews and Christians use Yahweh as the proper name of their Deity and El/Eloha/El-ohim as a generic name for their Deity.
3. El/Eloha/El-ohim is simply means DEITY: and the context determine which deity they refer to.

I repeat Arab christians and Jews refer to God as Allah before Islam how did they derive this name...

To christians and Jews What does this generic name "ALLAH" mean?

Allah of the Muslims and Jews has no son he is solely one, while the Allah of the christians has a son and the pagan Allah has daughters?

YHWH himself claim he appeared to Abraham as God Almighty and wasn't know by YHWH. Why would he respond to such name if it isn't his name?

Also Allah of Jews is YHWH while Allah of christians is JESUS + YHWH+ HOLYSPIRIT so even though Jews and Christians call upon Allah they still will not worship the same God b is YHWH of christians has a son.

If that will be the case why do you claim Allah of the Muslims which has no son or daughters is the same as pagan Allah with daughters...

Let me try maybe you'll realise your error that you've been on falsehood for months on this "Lah" things!

First and foremost, Arabic Alphabets are divided in to Sun and moon letters.

This classification affects how a word is pronounced when it is followed by the definite article "Al".

The Moon letters have no effect while the Sun letters affect the "L" by making it silent.

Examples: Al-Qamar (The Moon) vs Ash-Shams (The Sun). The Sun may be written as Al-Shams but will be pronounced Ash-Shams!

How is this related to your "Lah" error?

'Allah" as an Arabic word starts with Hamzah al wasl. This Hamzah is pronounced when it starts a sentence.
Example is when Allah starts Ayat al Kurisiy in Qur'an 2:255. Here, the Hamzah is pronounced.

But this is different when Allah appears after a vowelised letter!

For example, Wa+ Allah = Wallah and not Waallah!
Li+Allah= Lillah
Abdul-Allah= Abdullah

Al-Qamar - Walqamar
Ash-Shams - Wash-shams (this makes the "Shin" letter have a Shaddah! Just like the name "Allah" the "lam" having a Shaddah.

Thus dropping the "Hamzat al Wasl is established in Arabic grammar And it affects the Sun letters (Hurufush- Shamsiyyah).

There was nothing like "Yahweh" or Jehovah during the time of Our Prophet!
It is a capitalized YHWH and this is not even a name!

However some people decided to add vowels to make it pronounceable! They gave their God a name!
That's why till today some Christians still used YHVH/YHWH as it is.

I've been waiting for you as your ignorance reeks of foul odour!

This is exactly why You are so dumb and ignorant. You insinuate that the God of the Christians and Jews is EL even when I established that EL is a semitic language where Hebrew, Arabic and Aramaic stem from. Like a kindergarten student , I walked you though it.

But like the Arabian Donkey that doesn't listen unless you flog it, you still insist that EL is the cananite god.

Translate it first!

Just the way you did Allah!

The Sun is Al-Shams pronounced Ash-Shams!

Just tell me that you are comparing Allah with the sun and I will gladly translate it for you!

Doesn't the Yahweh of the Jews ascribe several sons to himself of different categories?
LOL!
exactly that is the point but christians claim Jesus is the only begotten son right a co equal to God.

Whereas the God of the Jews had no co equal. Whereas the Jew call those sons servants of God even Jehovah witnesses sees Jesus as a high rank angel/servant of God which means y'all not worshipping the same God.

Which leads me to ask you why did you say Allah of the Muslims with no daughters is the same being with pagan Allah with daughters?

If I claim trinitarians and Unitarian christians are worshipping the same God you will reject it yet you are doing the same to Muslims.

I don’t and don’t claim to know. But what I do know is as follows:

1. Canaanite is a catch all phrase for people living in the land of Canaan. These includes Phoenicians, Moabites, philistines etc.

2. That El is the Supreme deity of the Canaanite pantheon.

3. That Hebrew language (just like Arabic) is relatively younger than Canaanite languages and is a probably derivative.

4. That El, understood as God in Hebrew, is traceable to the Canaanite El.

For these propositions, I recommended a research article to you on the origin of Canaanite religion yesterday. Have you read it?

My beloved Muslim friends, especially, Legalwolf, Antichristian and Lukuluku69, I think these two names are eye opening names if we look at their meanings.

Jubril means strength from Yahweh or Yahweh is my strength. That means Angel Jubril's God is not Allah but Yahweh.

Ismael also means Yahweh will hear or Yahweh hears me. This means Abraham who gave Ismael his name was a worshiper of Yahweh and not Allah. How then can Abraham be a Muslim? Could someone who didn't name his son after Allah really build a mosque to him? I think it's getting clearer to you guys. You may have a different opinion actually. I'll be glad to hear it.

Also, if all the prophets Islam venerates have Yahweh reverently attached to their names as evidently shown, it means Yahweh is the God of the prophets and not Allah. The name issue is the big Truth that the lies of the Arabs could not cover.

Please note that the dearh and resurrection of Christ is what brought us victory over Satan. Satan created Islam to use it as a weapon for blocking people from having access to that victory which Christ purchased with His blood. You can't understand this just in few sentences. If you study the Bible well, all the questions arising in your heart about Christ's death and resurrection would be answered.

Please ask yourself this? Of what use is it for anyone to peddle lies that his Saviour bled and died on a criminal cross? It's not logical at all. The earliest Christians know it looks foolish but there's nothing they could do about it because it is the truth, and it carries much power. That's why Paul said "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation..." This people all laid down their lives for this truth even though the truth looks foolish. They were all matyred. They died gladly because they knew they were dying for the truth. They rejected all inducements and gave up their lives for the truth.

I tell you, even Mohammed couldn't die for Islam. He took up weapons to defend his life. They earliest Christians gave up their lives for the Christianity that we today enjoy. Please think about this.

Please let's be loyal to our souls. Our individual souls and its eternal home is what matters. Loyalty to a religion or prophet does not make sense.

My beloved brothers in Christ Jesus, Advocatejare, TenQ, Sixfiguresmart and Speaklove, this is the biggest truth of the century. This is the most potent weapon for opening the eyes of our beloved Muslim brothers and sisters. I plead with you in Christ's name to meditate on this and make a complete compilation of names and meanings which coupled with your deep knowledge of Islam, could be maximised to help Muslims see the truth.
