In 2022 Anambra could only generated 30 billion as IGR with the airport even Osun state generated 22 billion naira.

Anambra should be competing with Lagos now with the chest beating you guys did with that Airport.

Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria with the airport and almost all the infrastructure built by the Federal government for Nigerian and not for Yoruba people.

Therefore, It would be disingenuous of you to compare Lagos with any other State in Nigeria.

The ongoing industrialization in Ogun as you claimed is not due to any deliberated policy track on the part of the state government but rather a natural outflow of Lagos commercial enterprises due to close proximity and availability of cheap land.

Anambra is among the top five most developed states with the biggest economics in Nigeria. These states are Lagos, Rivers, Anambra, Kano and Delta. If your state is not among these states then your state is still a village.

There is a saying that people hate what they can't have, why wouldn't IGR became nonsense to you when your region is too barren to generate any good revenue, even most of you troop out of that sadEast daily to look for better way to survive elsewhere, imagine leaving any state in the East just to hawk snacks and push wheel barrow in any state in the west? Something you should be able to do easily in the East if it is not that barren.


Federal Government built Lagos blah blah you forget Abuja is now the capital with all the federal government infrastructures and it still can't dethrone Lagos as the commercial capital.

If the government in Lagos are not doing anything to promote the viability of the state for business, Abuja could have easily replace Lagos.

If you say Ogun state is benefitting from his close proximity to Lagos, then what about Oyo state? no state in the East can beat Oyo in industrialization. Is it because of its close proximity to Lagos too? You are just bitter and jealous.

Nothing is happening in abeokuta or any other Ogun hinterlands. The noise about Ogun is just extension of Lagos into the boarder communities of Ogun

First you just showing selected buildings and comparing makes no sense.
Also, every airport is built to serve a particular need.
If you invest billions on an airport that would bearly be in service or you have very little need of, it would be impossible to maintain.
Just so you know, the south east has greater need of Airports because they have a larger population in diaspora.

How many Chinese are even in Africa? and are they doing menial Jobs and hustling like selling snacks and pushing wheel barrows in traffic? What you should be able to do in your states in the east if it have any ounce of economic development. Most of the chinese in Africa are here because of works, construction and mining companies bring most Chinese to Africa and overall their population are not that much.

We're Ijebu, if you've heard about ijebu you'll should know we're among the wealthiest in west Africa.
Ogun state and Lagos state being compared to Anambra is an insult to us.
