BOG now is the main middle man for Gold Export in the country so they have Dollar inflow of about $30m every week. But in the past two weeks, they surpassed their target and accumulated about $120m per week.

The major problem with Accra is that open gutter. They should just work on that.

They've been covered in most places and in other places work is yet to begin. Those that have not been covered yet exist in residential areas where people don't really find it a problem because every now and then, they have to desilt it so their kitchen and bathroom water can flow freely.

In these places, lots of sand gathers on the edges of the road because of construction activities.

it so much concern me because no single week will go without me making a dollar transaction. I am getting a temporary relief. I hope the trend continue. I will like to see it in single digit...

That's our hope but it's too early for the jubilation. Remember we are in the festive season and a lot of people are trooping into the country.

And there is fewer option for them. People choose to become diploma nurse or teacher because it is believe it is easier way to secure employment. But that was before not anymore. We have too much of them in supply.
