I've been saving money to buy a good land in Abuja in this my safe box since last year.

Because of the naira redesign policy I have to break the box in order to deposit d money in the bank and beat the deadline.

Now, the problem is since broke the box,counted the money and deposited it in the bank I've been spending the money recklessly, sending money to anyone that asks, buying stuffs cos of the ease and availability.
Now, my hopes of buying a land close to Aso villa will have to wait a little longer cos of naira redesign.

What happened to fixed deposit, etc?

Financial illiteracy is the problem, not naira redesign.

Use cowry rise or piggyvest.

But the bad part is you'll know exactly how much you've saved whenever you open the app, which might demoralize you or motivate you to save

This is my problem.... Saving in all these other means will make me know the amount saved, then will make me want to spend out of it..

You talking about fixed deposit like you know what you saying....
Show me any bank that you can't break your fixed deposit whenever you want before maturity...the worst they'll do is make you pay some penalty.
