I laugh when people say Messi or C Ronaldo is the goat  PELE is the god of football - The greatest and most influential footballer to ever live. Messi & C Ronaldo are amongst the greatest footballers of all time but none of them is certified to be the GOAT. NOTE - This is my personal opinion. 1 Like

Pele did not leave Brazil for Europe, because he was regarded as National Treasure and barred from leaving the country. If you want to see him play, you pay to watch him. He is the only player that people pay to watch him train alone like it's a real football game. It was after the then president left that he was unbarred to leave the country, then it was too late. |
