MT:I'm sorry, but in the last part of your write-up You're wrong. Please go read about James Allen, the man who wrote — " as a man thinketh" .... His books have sold more than 500 million copies but to some they would think he died poor or wretched, but to he(James Allen) he died a fulfilled man— because he was able to share his truths with millions of people. " Most Africans always think everything is always about money! money! money! But to some and most whites (no racial disparity) True wealth is having a single purpose and going ahead to bring joy to millions of people.... not necessarily amassing treasures on earth! Mother Theresa comes to mind. |

I can swear I've read this article somewhere before, about 5/6 years ago. Facebook. It was written by a journalist. It was the "retired Major" part that teased my memory. I will fish it out when I have the time and inclination. You people should learn to always give credit where due, for God's sake. Intellectual thievery is so disgusting and annoying |

Jeon:reduce it pls, someone like me who does not even have a thing to account for, what to call mine, not even sure if what happens next in my life, hardly feeds well, look at good things of life that are so common and shake my head in disappointment that I can't afford them.....but yet, I find myself happy each time I remember that, we are only passing through this realm....one day we will all be gone with history and never or hardly be remembered |

You are probably correct. But that why it is called life. It happens to us all. And it is not a reason to stop living your life. No matter how good or bad you live your life. It will happen to you someday when you look back and wants to feel like 19 again. |

That is what I always tell people when it comes to discussions about life, Power is transient, no champion for ever. If circumstances don't change it, death il. Where ever a person is ,he/ she should be aware of that, A person u think is useless today , might turn out to be d king tomorrow, n that person u hold in high esteem today, might turn out to be trash tomorrow, the future is unknown to man, that is y in every plan u make put it before GOD, cus he only knows the situations, events surrounding that ur plan. As a human u don't even know the heart or what is going on in the mind of ur fellow human. |

Bro I also grew up in k/mashi around that sabo line area.. i also worked as golf cardy to one Lt.col. Abubakar sani . Am a Christian igala by tribe, but this man a Muslim and from jigawa state,he like me and take me like his son. 2014 I finished my secondary school, and immediately he started processing my application to join the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). Long story short..... he fell sick and die, that's how my dream of becoming an officer in the military die. All his friends just disappeared. Nobody to help. Me continue the process. IyaTola:The truth! It is our conceit that drives us to do things that will outlast us. It may be that this conceit is a useful tool since it has given us things like the Internet and the devices we are using but that conceit also gives us the illusion of permanence especially in our youth, we think our life spans are still long ahead of us not knowing it is like a grain of sand on the seashore. |

. Down the road, off that express way is Sefa Specialist Hospital in Kaduna, off college road. The owner, Dr Akuse was a highly intelligent doctor. He passed away in 2014. How time flies. Nobody even remembers him again in their association called SOGON, where he used to be very active. I've been to the lengths and breadth of Nigeria, even transversed the Atlantic ocean, down to Indian ocean and the Great Mediterranean sea and I've come to realise one thing, vanity upon vanity, all is vanity.
