Nobody deceived Peter Obi to leave PDP. Immediately after Atiku Abubakar's loss of the 2019 presidential election, he started to prepare to contest for the 2023 presidential election.
Obi knew that Atiku would use his ill-gotten wealth to buy PDP ticket in the 2022 PDP presidential primaries, therefore, Obi left PDP promptly and joined the Labour Party.
