With the current insecurity in the South East regions and the insistence by the Simon Ekpa/Ipob group that elections will not hold in the region, I feel this will be a big loss for Peter Obi in his own regions.

If they carry out a sit at home order like they keep doing, the most affected areas would be places like rural areas were big shot politicians of the state will not care about so much. These ruling class politicians will definitely use the security agencies to secure their own major polling zones to claim their votes while those areas where Peter Obi could easily get good votes will be left in fear and disarray from the sponsored unknown gunmen that will scatter things.

You sound gullible trying to make sense. You seem to quickly forget that public officials have restricted access to security operatives on election day.

If Nigerians need an experienced president, they will vote Atiku.

Rigging of the presidential election in the South East, which is obviously the only way Peter Obi can be defeated, is going to be as dangerous as flying into a Saudi airport with cocaine in your backpack! Frankly, The best way to be quickly suyurazed in the South East is to play with this elections. Just remember I said this when it starts. Most of the traditional "riggers", who used to fool the people with phony tales about their connectios to Abuja and how following them will lead to eledorado, have all been emberassed and demystified by Buharis nonchalant administrative method especially in the East. Do you hear that much from the likes of Emeka offor or Rochas Okorocha or Orji Kalu or even the Ngiges and Onus? These ones are no more than keen..

Some of you don't seem to understand how upset most people are with Buharis handling of events in the East. You also don't seem to understand how frustrated Nigerians are and how a lot of people have intentionally chosen to be calm all along, just because they believe that this coming elections will provide them with the opportunity to right a lot of wrongs peacefully. You will be stretching your luck too far if you confidently believe that the incumbent government can easily rig the elections to favor their candidates and that "nothing will happen".. Something will happen because folks are hungry and angry. You rig this elections in favor of any of these highly discredited candidates and you have simply set of a chain of events that will cascade the whole country into a mighty implosion!
