There are 4 Quarters in a year, the figure you posted contains 3 quarters, the result of the last quarter we are in is not yet out, how then can you claim that’s nigeria figure for 2022?

And even going by the IMF data, Nigeria gdp per capita is higher than that of Kenya(and no, I’m not talking about ppp).

Thus, if I am seeking the latest information about a company in 2022, I will refer them to the most recent quarter which would be Q3 of 2022.

Imf and world bank October outlook are projections.only south Africa has released their Q3.2022 final real figures will be known in most countries march/April next year..they need at least two months to collect and crunch numbers after end of a quarter.But imf outlook of October are pretty accurate compared to April because they already know the first half and have to project the remainder

Projected growth figure, nothing is written in stone yet.

And if you’re conversant with the IMF system, you’ll know they have often times get their figures wrong, in fact nigeria exceeded the projected GDP growth rate from imf this year.

Our GDP now stands at 504 billion dollars, and Kenya is 114 billion dollars which is down from the over 120 billion that was projected.

And yes GDP per capita is the more realistic of the economy outlook and we have a higher per capita than Kenya.
