We don't do used cars imports! Only import for collection/vintage purposes... We have a thriving automative industry

No used clothes imports, we have a textile industry to improve

No used computer/cell imports
You are actually doing everything Ghana is doing except on a smaller quantity and a limited govt. Control

not as much as how they've gone down in Ghana and how much they're about to go down further because the major driver of Ghana's price increases was cedi depreciation and all of the inflation we just saw in Ghana was driven by Cedi depreciation.

Their forex reserves were down to 6B dollars in sept - and if they used - we shall soon find out. Definitely them refusing to pay almost all external debts - means they have run out of dollars
GeneralDae2:
Some say Ghana used her little reserves to shore up the cedis and this is why they had to announce a halt to their external debt servicing. However, I can’t find any official report to this claim, does this have some atom of truth?
Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by rvp2018: 11:56am On Dec 21, 2022
Are you buying forex from minning companies or buying their gold with cedis. Unless you're then re-exporting the gold to get dollars.
vaxx:
nah, there is suspension on any external debt payment for now, that increased the liquidity anyway but it wasn't enough. the actual reason is the continue buying of forex from mining and oil sector , the increased of forex from remintance and couple with the staff level agreement with the IMF . When we reached the board level, the economy will have fully recovered.
