You level of understanding is wanting ...it is clear ....this is a day of Internet , you can hardly hide anything now .
Did I not specify the nature of those used items?

What are collectors items? What are they used for?
I am too smart to trade such lane . You should do.

SA shares border with some landlocked country particularly durban sea port, so used items normally passes thru offshore while some end up in your country and that is what you mostly find In your county ...

I tolerate you despite your hogwash, so far you poured it here , I will not leave it undiluted. Unless it is fact . Jumping from one argument into another .

You start from price reduction into used item. Only devil knows why

same things apply here too... There are some country that can make your nation an exporter of their used item. China for instance has made Ghana an exporting country for baby used item . So if SA is exporting it hence big deal. The big deal we are talking here is you are also a net users of the above item . The used cloth.

Try to use credible news. Hilton didnt exit Kenya. They closed shop at CBD and open a new branch.

Our budget for next year is very tame. There is just a billion dollar increase when we expect revenues to increase by almost 3 billion.

We expect ordinary revenues to increase from this year 2.4 to 2.9 trillion Kshs.

We are cutting borrow to 6 billion dollars annually in any economy at 120b dollars then. Of that 6 billion dollars - we will borrow 2 billion externally - and rest internally

I think budget deficit will be less than 5% - and we shall be in course to balance the budget soon.

AfriqueDuZuid:
You saying Ghana is out of the woods is far from the truth.

Kenya new tax regime, may lead to exodus of companies changing base if they haven't started already.

Ghanians are crazy people. The most crazy you'll deal with. They can battle Nigeria of 220m people all day by just being obnoxious.

The approach that works - ignore everything they say - and focus on facts.

They will double down on insults.

They are used to battling Nigerians so you cant win.

You import used underwear, socks, shorts, etc as part of your main economic activity.

You depend on it

the intelligent questions will be what is the Ghana market size of automobile industry? Not how many cars . Production volume are for big power house like japan and Germany/ usa

which dream world are you living In?

Your govt need to borrow 12 billion dollars to fill the budget deficit... You only just got 450 million for IMF for budgetary support and youre happy? grin grin

KRA will only be able to raise 1.8 trillion kshs by year end as they've only been able to raise 750 billion half year. This means you'll be in a more serious situation than you're already in.

Your govt trying to increase taxes even higher will just lead to an exodus of businesses like we've been seeing

How mush we import is insignificant compare to how much we produce here. The most worn clothings in Ghana comes from Ghanaian textile producers

hence the reason big company like Nissan , Toyota and the rest are opening here. The Nissan have a production capacity of making 31 thousand cars per year couple with the Toyota capacity of fifty plus. If I add other Chinese company who are also into the trade , we should be having close to 2 hundred plus per year if all of them become functional

you are not lenient, you just don't have the right capacity to ask intelligent question.

Ghana car production are very limited for now and I actually don't have the figure , even if it is one,we are heading somewhere. this a developing country.
