Ghana has market of 2,500 new cars. Kenya about 15,000.Nigeria 30,000.South Africa produces 0.5m.Please facts are sacrosanct.Dont make this thread a madhouse

Yes ... That is the production capacity theyll be doing at full stream... Currently they're doing just 2 stream. So you're looking at 22,000 plus... Voltswagon first phase has been producing 4,000plus cars and it 2nd phase is under construction to add additional 20,000.

Kia is also in the process of setting up to produce 10,000 units

Now I see why you're desperate.

In 2021, there were 11,494 new vehicles sold in Ghana by various brands..

This does not include new vehicles imported by individuals.

In total, the vehicle licensing authority in Ghana licensed 320,000 plus vehicles for 2021 out of which 33,000 were new vehicles

Keep screaming if Ghana actually move ahead to ban secondhand cars import fully, you'll see an even greater explosion in production because the price at which Ghanaians buy second hand cars plus the import duties they pay on it is actually enough to buy brand new versions of those cars they import in most cases.
