I am in interested in the others...otherwise I have counted Kia, Toyata, Suzuki, VW, Sinotruk, (maybe Hyudai),Peugot, Renault and BMC? as having assembly plant in Ghana. Then Kantanka badging chinese cars.

Quick search - shows most are planning to set up assemblies or started in 2021 if at all.

If you ask me Nigeria real GDP is 200-250B.

You know Nigeria the economy is largely informal. Even for them to tell you how much maize they planted is guess work - where they go to flea market - and estimate.

And if you ask for any formal data - zero?
Any export data of any product - zero?

How do they collect agri data - wield guestimates.

We only disagree on how to compare growth rate
I believe growth rate relates to the last year quarter - not the previous quarter.
So if South Africa 3rd Q grew - 4% - it's against 3rd Q of 2021 - not 2nd Q of 2022.

For you - we therefore add quarter growth rate - to get annual growth.
For me - we average quarter growth rate - we sum up their sum for each quarter.
