Qatar 2022: Messi sets five Guinness World Records

Argentina captain, Lionel Messi, set five Guinness World Records during the 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Guinness World Records disclosed this in a post via its website following the conclusion of the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament last weekend.

The five Guinness World Records are:

Most Man of the Match awards won at the FIFA World Cup (11); first person to assist at five different FIFA World Cups; Most FIFA World Cup appearances as captain (19); Most appearances in FIFA World Cup tournaments by a player (male, 5) and Most FIFA World Cup matches played by a player (26).

Apart from the five records, the Guinness Book of World Records also announced on Tuesday that Messi’s Instagram post is now the most-liked post in the history of the platform, with over 62 million likes as of publication.

Recall that Messi led Argentina to win this year’s World Cup after beating France in the final on Sunday, thanks to a 4-2 penalty victory.

Cry baby, do you have a degree in dishing out wrong/fake stats?

Watch how penaldians will embrace this trash as facts and start their usual mastubation.

Meanwhile, instead of this smear campaign against the Greatest ever, you should be more concerned about Ronaldo joining Walahi Talahi FC.

Messi conquered the world at all levels.

U20 World Cup Winner & Best Player

U23 Olympic Gold Medalist & Best Player

2021 Copa America Winner & Best Player

2022 World Cup Winner & Best Player

ONCE AGAIN, Messi is the S.I Unit of Football.

Lionel Messi. The best football player to ever do it.

He now comfortably joins the rank of three best football players ever. To me, he slightly edges Maradona and Pele but I'll still put d three in number ONE spot.

As for the other wonderful players such as Zidane, Henry, Ronaldinho, C.Ronaldo, Ronaldo de Lima, etc they occupy the second spot for me.

### Best player of his generation ###
Lionel Messi the only player to have won MVP in all football tournaments he has played in for both country and club at least once in the history of football as well as winning each competition at least once .
Right from U20(MVP), Copa America young best player, 2X MVP in Copa America, 2X world cup golden ball winner, best player in the club league multiple times, Best player in Uefa champions league multiple times. Make I no talk bout 7 ballon dors, 6 european golden boot, 8 league highest goalscorer + Multiple times IFHHS Playmaker of the year award.
Excellent at freekicks, king of dribbling, too good with key passes...total package. Insane number of assists n man of the match awards…damn. Just mention an active or retired player who has everything or even have close to this combined talent coupled with the discipline to keep it up for over 10 years

Someone please remind me of any best player / MVP award CR7 won while playing for country. Even if na Portuguese kindergarten team. Even second sef we go manage m. Go and Verify
