Alot of Nigerians going abroad are now studying nursing course after spending several years in the Nigerian universities reading a different course.Nigerians that read Engineering,Accounting and other courses as the case may be have joined the bandwagon.Emphasis on career choice should shift to nursing in Nigeria instead of wasting years in the Nigerian universities coupled with strikes and still end up studying nursing abroad.

It's quite unfortunate. However, they are not studying nursing because they like it. They start studying nursing because registered nurses are well paid over there and most Nigerians leave the country for greener pastures.

They are not even well paid over there. I WATCHED CNN recently and saw nurses in UK going on strike.Nigerians are now voluntary slaves in foreign lands due to our bad Government.

I was referring to the United States. At least I know that one. They pay them well. I don't know about the UK. I don't like that country.
