We have road network of 750 00km, Johannesburg has paved road network as big as Kenya.

Netherlands has narrow roads that's why bicycles were great for them. Again public transportation in Netherlands is great with bus and trains.

None of those beat bikes...bikes work everywhere anywhere like you mobile phones..I remember in 2001 arguing in online forum why Africa need phones n computer..then Joburg had more landlines than entire Africa.Manhattan island alone had more telephony than entire Africa.The argument was similar..why would you need a mobile phone when landline works...those days it was business kind of thing...not something you call to socialize.Now it's changed completely.Bikes ticks most last miles needs.Once you sort the excessive noise through electric motor the rest is easy.Its a shame your own country is being left out...as you engage in taxi wars.Bikes are cheap, efficient, versatile, etc...it's going to dominate like your mobile phone

In some years they will be sending transport experts to see how African are using motorbikes to transport anything include coffins or even ambulance or firefighting equipment.Nature is mother of invention.Africa are now proving motorbikes can do much more....than ever imagined by their inventors
