OLAADEGBU:What it does is reveal you are a fraud in your attempt to dubiously deflect from the actual questions asked of you. ![]() Again, You wey you claim to accept him where is the proof that you even believe in Him when you don't even begin to know His truth apart from the lies you continue to feed off of men who you place your trust in, against God, mind you? Where is the promise and power you enjoy in that name? Let's stop with the bullsheeting this year. Where and what is it? ![]() |

Kobojunkie:You asked for the promise and power I enjoy in the name of Jesus? Fasten your belt and let's go there: i). I have assurance that I've been born again through faith in the name of Jesus Christ and in His saving work on the Cross. ii). I believe, guard and honour God's promises in His Word that is quick and sharper than an two-edged sword. iii). My faith in the name of Jesus Christ brings the presence of the guiding, purifying Holy Spirit into my life. iv). By faith in the name of Jesus I keep His commandments and live righteously by His grace. v). By faith in the name of Jesus I manifest real love for my Christian brethren. ![]() |

Maynman:If you ask them this is what they would tell you: "And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not" (Mark 5:7). You can see that even demons (devils) know who Jesus Christ is. Can we say they are better than you? ![]() |

OLAADEGBU:1. Assurance that you are born-again? What the heck does that mean when Jesus Christ definitely stayed that you are either born-again or you are not. So which is it? If you don't even know for a fact that you are then how can you claim to even know Him? ![]() Ii) Meaningless soundbites! Jesus Christ made it abundantly clear in His teachings that the only way to honor God is through continuous submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments, God's mandate since the beginning. ![]() Iii) lol... you seem to be full of meaningless soundbites. Again, in His teachings, Jesus Christ made known that Faith, the only way to please God is through continuous submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments. ![]() Iv) save all the meaningless jabber for your pastors and mogs abeg and get to answering the question instead. ![]() |

The prophet Isaiah described six qualities with which the Messiah will be blessed: "God's spirit will rest upon him, (1) the spirit of wisdom and (2) understanding, (3) the spirit of counsel and (4) might, (5) the spirit of knowledge and (6) fear of God" (Isaiah 11:2). In all these qualities, the Messiah will excel all other human beings. He will reestablish the Sanhedrin, the religious supreme court and legislature of the Jewish people. This is a necessary condition for the rebuilding of the Third Temple, as it is written, "I will restore your judges as at first, and your counselors as in the beginning; afterward, you will be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city. Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and those who return to her, with righteousness" (Isaiah 1:26-27). Such a Sanhedrin would also be able to formally recognize the Messiah as the king of Israel. And the prophet Elijah will verify it I’m sure and than he is also qualified to anoint the future messiah. Can anyone tell me how someone ends up with Jesus? |

sonmvayina:These Jews (like your former landlord) you venerate and are so obsequious towards, are you sure they aren’t just European converts to Judaism claiming descent from people of ancient Israel? Concerning the word “jew” itself, start from here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ioudaios Go find a record of the alleged exile the Romans imposed on Judeans in 70 A.D. Matter of fact, I was searching for that when I happened upon this interesting take. https://mondediplo.com/2008/09/07israel Nor is there any trace or memory of the magnificent kingdom of David and Solomon. Recent discoveries point to the existence, at the time, of two small kingdoms: Israel, the more powerful, and Judah, the future Judea. The general population of Judah did not go into 6th century BC exile: only its political and intellectual elite were forced to settle in Babylon. This decisive encounter with Persian religion gave birth to Jewish monotheism. Then there is the question of the exile of 70 AD. There has been no real research into this turning point in Jewish history, the cause of the diaspora. And for a simple reason: the Romans never exiled any nation from anywhere on the eastern seaboard of the Mediterranean. Apart from enslaved prisoners, the population of Judea continued to live on their lands, even after the destruction of the second temple. Some converted to Christianity in the 4th century, while the majority embraced Islam during the 7th century Arab conquest. Most Zionist thinkers were aware of this: Yitzhak Ben Zvi, later president of Israel, and David Ben Gurion, its first prime minister, accepted it as late as 1929, the year of the great Palestinian revolt. Both stated on several occasions that the peasants of Palestine were the descendants of the inhabitants of ancient Judea (2). |

The Name Of The Lord Jesus by Henry M. Morris, Ph.D. | Dec. 28, 2022 "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). This is the first of 144 references to the name of Christ in the New Testament. The word "name" (Greek noma) occurs only about 95 times when referring to any or all other names. This fact is itself a sort of commentary on Philippians 2:9: "God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name." In biblical times, a person’s name expressed the character or attributes desired for a child by his or her parents. The reason for the name "JESUS," which means "Jehovah saves" or simply "salvation," was given by the angel: "He shall save his people from their sins." There is only one Saviour, "for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12); but His name does save! "As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" (John 1:12). Those who do receive Christ are thenceforth associated with His name—and therefore with His person and work. First, they are to be baptized "in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19). They are then to order their lives in a way that honours His name. "Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity" (2 Timothy 2:19). He has given many gracious promises of answered prayer if we pray in His name, "that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you" (John 15:16). The final use of "name" in the Bible stresses our eternal identification with His name, for "his name shall be in their foreheads" (Revelation 22:4) as we are united with Him in the age to come.
