look for a room to rent not flat. The landlords want grade A tenants with proven sources of income because their own mortgage is at stake. You are probably a student and without enough funds what if you default And if you have the money show them your account balance with funds that can cover lets say 3 to 6 months. For this abroad the landlord can’t easily kick you out . So no blame them.

My wife has gotten a full time job, am also working 20 hours I am also willing to pay 3 months down payment, but they still feel reluctant
