I legit still don't know what was going on in that fight. I was just watching for the spectacle. Nolan could have just done a legit spy action drama, but no-o, baba was like let me add time travel-ish - like can you even call it time travel, even they're just going backwards in time and they're still aging anyway? My gripe with Tenet is Nolan shooting it on a large scale: making it a blockbuster.

Too many players, locations, huge set pieces, sub plots and action.

The film would have worked better on a smaller scale: mid-sized budget, self contained story, less characters, one locale, few stuff going on especially on a story as complicated as that.

He should have taken a page from his first film Memento which also had a mindfuck plot but easier to follow due to a few things going on at the same time.

Any surprise that film was better received?

I like Tenet though for being an ambitious project, a little bit too much if you ask me.

Even me never understand the plot till today.

This is just a pure inspiration of what every body out there wanting to become somebody In life, this movie is just the perfect Inspiration.
Indeed!! There is nothing impossible in life for you to do, as long as you believe it and then work towards it.

But there is something i just want to say about black Americans in USA.
I know most of them black Americans are all about the ghetto and drugs and all that but the few that made it out from the hood, irrespective of the barriers, the racism and the disadvantages they have to face, these few black Americans like Micheal Jordan, The Jacksons, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Beyonce, jay Z and many of them.
Their breakthrough is why we are all here today.

Without the sacrifices they had to make, there will be no WizKid selling a sold out concert today in London or USA, there will be no Davido performing in a world cup final, there will be no Davido touring around the world.
There will be no Dbanj vs snopp dog.

My points is that the black Americans that broke through the racial barrier in music, sport, politics and business in America made the ultimate sacrifice for all black man and Black woman in the world especially Africa.

This is why i respect them a lot, especially Beyonce and co because y'all have no idea what they had to go through to be where we are today.

I bet y'all have no idea how bad racism was back In the days.
The abolishment of slave trade did nothing for Africa and for blacks.
Yes slave trade was stopped but the real Sacrifice were made by these Black Americans who refused to be second class from martin Luther king to 2 pac to Diana Ross to Whitney Houston to Obama and Many more.

Their sacrifices is why a black man called Davido can headline a fifa world cup final in an Arab country.

No matter what you think about America, please give them their due respect especially black Americans, they are why we are here today.

I enjoyed every bit of this musical and reminded me that musicals can be very entertaining if done right. The movie is funny, the songs are very catchy and themes of loss and redemption, moving.

That ending was totally unexpected but it turned around for good.

Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell are such amazing singers. Whew!!

And Memento honestly works because of its non-linear nature. There's actually a linear version of the film sef - a special feature for one of its DVD releases - and it just hits different. In some scenes, it's practically comedic sef. Tenet is one of those films were it looks like it makes sense until it doesn't and you're just keep watching it because you've gone too far and you're also enjoying the visuals.
