They do, but now on rare occasions. For an urchin's comment to get that number, a pro-Obi comment has gone passed 400+.

There are still deposits of Tinubu's supporters here and there and it's understandable that everyone cannot be reasonable and useful at the same time.

You don't understand me, let's say LegendHero or other urchins makes a comment praising Tinubu he gets 350likes, then I make a similar comment (obviously not with this moniker an alternate moniker, also praising Tinubu right under his own comment.
The first five or ten comments on a thread, he could get 300- 400 likes, while my own comment is barely getting 18- 30 likes ..

That's the point I'm making, they have a system where the main urchins get massive likes only, don't know how they do it, maybe the mods are involved.
But it's all fake, I guess,based on my experience..

We're almost saying the same thing, though. But your own observation is outdated. If you study how many reactions their comments now generate, you're going to see they're a shadow of what they used to be.

Only on very rare occasions, with advantageous positioning (1st—7th comment) can they get such.

Whatever it was that Seun Osewa did, he's done his two pence for Nigerians clamouring for a transition from a dysfunctional government.

Public opinion on the internet is best aggregated by designated reaction tools. On Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, mention it, the simplest way of weighing the thoughts of the public on a matter is how much likes, dislikes, hahas or frowns it ganers.

And it makes sense that APC would go all the way to influence the public opinion of Nairaland users (which is actually a very effective political platform with many users) to pass the message that they're loved and still have many supporters. Only that all those ridiculous likes and shares were done by bots. Not normal people.

And after Seun's attention was called to it, despite the emotional blackmails they posed at him, the fakes all died with the dusk of the day.

Now, a LeoDePauper or IhordMugu, or whatever their names are barely get any attentions. It's not as if they ever did.

Truly, the bot generated likes and shares have greatly reduced. People like Moh247, PandoraObi, lhordspy, yarimo, FreeStuffsNG, Abdul05, drlateef, etc are no longer getting 300 likes for typing ordinary "OK."

In all honesty, we have to commend our own Seun for that. Thank you Oluwaseun Osewa.
