Rest in Peace. Can any Catholic here tell me why their present Pope bows down and kiss hands of people like John Rothschild, Henry Kissinger, David Rockefeller and others? Why? Didn't Jesus not ask you Christians to not bow down to anyone else except him? Why is pope bowing to them and kissing their hands?

A bit about Pope Benedict's membership of the Hitler Youth...and yes, I googled.

Joseph Ratzinger ended up in the Hitler Youth because it was the law that German kids his age(from March 1939) , provided that they were aryan, had to be in the Hitler Youth.(He turned 14 in 1941).

Now Ratzinger came from a devout catholic family. Many catholics were opposed to Hitler (some were very supportive though...let's not lie)...and Ratzinger's family held off joining the Hitler Youth until the law was changed to make it compulsory. The guy had no choice.

If he had refused, he probably worst case scenario would have been taken away from his family, enrolled in a Nazi run institution, and forced to join the HJ anyway. Or he would have been made to pay heavy fines.

Almost all German kids who were teens and aryan at that time were either in the HJ or the BDM (the equivalent organization for girls). You had no choice. (That's why a dictatorship is messed up).
