Obaaderemi2:companies can be Hqed in lagos or Nairobi but that doesn't mean the real gdp is generated there....Real gdp is spread countrywide as companies have operation countrywide.Nigeria fake gdp explain why you have world worst revenue to gdp...high gdp..mean high gov revenues.Apart from VAT which lower than kenya all Nigeria tax rate are higher than kenya.Yet kenya collect more than Nigeria in income ,customs, name it.GDP is just random number. REVENUE IS REAL MONEY.Faking gdp hurt you..no one else ..its your own delusion |

Mkenya2019:Of course there are so many indicators, but what I need to know is why your youths are so poor in science subjects that they never win anything in any of the major international science olympiads. Why? I thought you used to brag about how good your kids are in Kenya. With all the lynching of hapless teachers and principals, you got virtually nothing to show for it. Shame on you. ![]() |

Obaaderemi2:I did math contest in my form 3..it was famous in Kenya...St Patrick iten maths...I didn't know half question..as its exam for form 4 but few form 3 can sit it.I was done in 30 minutes...it I remember the first exam i didn't know jack about question like differentiation. Normally i took about 20 minutex to finish 2hours of mathe.Few months they announced I had broken a record for Form 3.I was given award.Again olympiad eligibility is 20yrs and then no college kids.Kenya kids do form 4...we go to university. Uganda for example like Nigeria and Ghana takes two more years in senior high schools..learn advanced maths and science..we don't. Kenya kids therefore overperformed..as you're comparing form 4 with form six..high school with senior high school. THE LAST SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL WAS RUTO GENERATION IN 1989.Since then university first year is foundation or senior high school...and we take four years..not three years |

Mkenya2019:Forget about revenue to GDP. If your revenue to GDP was worth it, your debt profile wouldn't be so bad. ![]() Now to the topic of discussion: any reason why your youths have never won anything in any of the international science olympiads? I thought Kenyan youths were the smartest in Africa. South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, even our neighbor Cotedivoire are doing better than Kenya in such things. You've been trying to run from the debate ever since it came up. ![]() |

Obaaderemi2:Another story in our first year..we struggled against kids from international school and one Ugandan..because we're learning senior high schools maths and science..while they were competent in calcus II.Again you cannot just compare countries..that is why PISA, Timss,SAcmeq and other exists |

Yes this St Patrick maths contest ..started in 1975 were big deal..I didn't sit in in form 4..as I had been expelled for burning our school https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Patrick%27s_High_School_(Iten,_Kenya) |

Mkenya2019:Why would you not perform well when you were up against dullards like yourself? You spend 8 years in primary school, we spend 6. So what are you saying? Are you telling me your kids don't do differentiation and other further maths topics until they get to University? Morroco and South Africa perform very well in those Olympiads. What are you getting wrong? I began to suspect Kenyan education during the course of this threads. First, the cognitive reasoning skills of the Kenyans here gave you away. Then when I dug further and I saw the results of your final year secondary school students, I knew something was wrong. Then when you stated how you kill teachers and excuse the dumb kids, I had to quickly check how your kids were doing in the international science competitions. I realized Kenya was a basket case in terms of education, especially pre-tertiary education. Maybe I should excuse you now since you can't come up with any meaningful answer and you are already very angry. ![]() |

Obaaderemi2:St Patrick iten and Mangu high in out times were big deal in maths.kenya education has been professionally assessed.it historical been off charts. We decided to eliminate senior high schools in 1980s and adopted 8-4-4.Yes we had longest primary school and shortest high schools. Most of our university kids are 17yrs. You can argue till cow return home but there are many indicators out there for quality of education including stems..Kenya is offcharts in Africa |

Obaaderemi2:I did my first strike in form 2..I was ring leader 44..somehow I survive as I denied amid dog beating..got suspended for another two weeks..in form 3..we organised another unsuccessfully. I got expelled then stayed in local schools with all freedoms..broke that district academic records..then finally at uon..my dream to fight moi dictatorship was alive..ever since I had heard in BBC news UON kids shouting moi must go in 1990..then unimaginable..I had sworn I would go uon and shout moi must go..anyway first week at uon..we had our first strike..university closed..we fought moi..until 2002 when we saved our country..Kenya has done amazing well since 2003.we did our best. Then uon was hotbed of Marxism and all sort of development philosophy..as moi police state has cowered everyone..we knew we were the last men standing..we rioted..we stoned cars..we buried colleagues. Power or electricity never went out at UON...we would be in streets belting cars..our happiest moments definitely was 2003 when moi dictatorship curtain drew..Kenya has never stopped growing since then..we had saved our country..we had sacrificed. The first thing kibaki did in 2003 was to return back all expelled university students.I remember the remarkable Karl Marx student leader of 1990s returning 35yrs old minus all the teeth.kenya universities especially university of Nairobi n kenyatta we did our part to save Kenya..20yrs we couldn't be any prouder..economy has grown from a trillion kshs to 13 trillion. That amazing .20yrs Kenya is unrecognisable and we cap it new constitution in 2010.Because we refused to Suffer n Smile. Now Kenya is on unstoppable growth trajectory |

Nigeria until they stop suffering and smiling ain't going nowhere.I recall the first day at UON..I went to listen to townhall meeting. This Maasai disabled doing medicine had been elected university of Nairobi student leader..almost everything improbable..maasai in university..disabled..student leader..doing medicine...he was fiery...was expelled few months later..came back in 2003 and completed his medicine degree..then nominated member of Parliament and now in East Africa Parliament http://www.parliament.go.ke/the-national-assembly/hon-ole-sankok-david |

Mkenya2019:The major international indicators to measure high school performance in science out there are the international science Olympiads. You may bring another one that has both Kenya and Nigeria on it and let's see how you fare. Until then, you may argue till you become blue in the face, fact remains that our high school kids are smarter than yours. That's what the Ghanaian was telling you yesterday but you wouldn't let him talk. If you don't listen how will you ever improve? Killing teachers for stvpid lazy irresponsible Kenyan kids would only continue to worsen your situation. |

Mkenya2019:Can you provide proof Kenya collects more tax than Nigeria in income, customs?? Where would the Kenyan tax be coming from, when even your biggest export is flower of 1.4 Billion dollars. Nigerian non oil federal taxes for 2022 is estimated to hit 10 trillion Naira (22 Billion dollars). Don't just pull things out from your ass. |
| Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by GeneralDae2: 12:59am On Jan 03, 2023*. Modified: 1:24am On Jan 03, 2023 |
Mkenya2019:Also note that Nigerian Budget is mainly tied to oil revenue and this is what is majorly referred to when they say revenues to debt servicing as an example. With more attention currently being paid to non oil revenues year by year, the budget would no longer be tied to oil revenues. For instance, due to low oil production in 2022, Nigerian revenue to debt servicing ranged between 80-110%, but there was constant FAAC allocation across all three tiers of Government consistently (some even above 2 Billion dollars monthly). This is different from Kenya where your budget is not benchmarked to any major natural resource, so Kenya doing Revenue to debt servicing of 35% may sometimes be worse than Nigeria doing 80%. |

GeneralDae2:Stop lying. Nigeria this coming year is projecting to collect about 10 trillion both from oil and non oil. They are then going to borrow another crazy 10trillion naira. What does Nigeria actually collect as revenue..at federal level its about 10 billion dollars..2021 they did about that.kenya total revenue at national level is more than 20 billion. Again what has exportation got to do with gdp or gov revenues.kenya 2023 budget will be 3.6 trillion kshs with at least 2.8 trillion being collected internally...we will only borrow mere 700b kshs... |

This is what Zoo collected in 2021 at federal level - hilarious. Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, says the the Federal Government has generated N3.93 trillion, being 73 per cent of its targeted N7.9 trillion revenue for 2021. The oil component was 754B Naira. The non-oil taxes N1.15 trillion. 2022 - 1st Q Details of the nation's fiscal performance in Q1 2022 showed that Nigeria's total revenue stood at N1. 63 trillion while debt servicing stood at N1. 94 trillion, showing a variance of over N300 billion |
