Doctors in the house my friend needs advise.
He had sex with a runz girl and after the sex went for HIV test with the girl. The girl results returned NEGATIVE.

Now my questions is, if the girl had contacted HIV and it is yet to be detected can my friend still contact it later?

Yes.

Even the girl whose results came out NEGATIVE might already have the virus in her vaginal fluid, while the virus remains undetectable.

Your friend should do an HIV test 18-45 days after that sex with the runz girl.

Rapid Antibody Test can't detect HIV in 18-45 days nah. He should wait for 3 months.

A rapid antigen/antibody test done with blood from a finger stick can usually detect HIV 18 to 90 days after exposure
