maclatunji: I think this picture shows many things about Buhari:

1. He is not a bigot/tribalist.

2. He has respect for those ahead of him even from different tribes/religions.

3. He is not proud.

4. He is very humble.

It paints him in good light because to be a true leader, you must be ready to serve and be humble. For the record, Buhari takes precedence of the late Ojukwu in the scheme of things in Nigeria. Ojukwu could never attend a National Council of State meeting, he wasn't qualified. So, you have to give kudos to Buhari.
Ikemba was his boss in the Nigerian Army and ranked superior on the other side in the theatre of war. He has no choice to respect him even though providence may have offered them different outcomes. There is no argument about who's superior here.

WELL, I THINK THE LOCATION AS TO COME TO PLAY ALSO. AS THIS PICTURE IS CONCERN, IT SEEMS BUHARI WAS THE VISITOR AT OJUKWU'S TERRAIN .. IF OJUKWU OR AWOLOWO WAS TO GO TO MEET A LEADER AT THE NORTH, THEY HAVE TO SHOW SOME FORM OF RESPECT, OR OJUKWU AND BUHARI COMES TO THE WEST, THEY HAVE TO SHOW SOME FORM OF RESPECT. ITS JUST LOGICAL, JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION
Re: A Picture Of Buhari & Ojukwu by PresGEJ(m): 3:10pm On Aug 28, 2012
To me oh, Ojukwu looks like a regular driver asking Buhari, "So, Oga, where next?"

In yesterday's picture, Bakare looked like a houseboy that Oga shook hands with for the very first time after slaving for years!
cheesy

LOL. You do have "security" issues. The picture obviously shows two retired military men. The respect shown by Buhari here is not to say he is "inferior" but to give honour to whom honour is due. In life, there will always be people ahead of you and those behind you, that in no way implies that your either inferior/superior to the former/latter.

For all intent and purposes, the junior officer finished as a "superior" to his senior officer in the scheme of things within Nigeria. Humility uplifts a man whilst pride debases him. You lot should learn that.
Re: A Picture Of Buhari & Ojukwu by AndroBlaze: 3:23pm On Aug 28, 2012
People forget that Buhari is first and foremost a soldier and by most accounts a soldier's soldier.

Anyway there is nothing surprising that in the military a junior pays respect to his senior by many years and ranks ATT. Ojukwu might have later turned out to be a failed political figurehead, but a good soldier would always give him the respect his sojourn in our military deserves. If still unsure go see the way Buhari was talking about TY Danjuma and Gowon at the last Silverbird Man of the year event- OBJ could never humble himself to talk about Gowon let alone Ojukwu like that.

deshclones: Lol...seems ojukwu was even trying to avoid the unclean infidel.,same herdsman Tinubu is clinging onto..see Ezeigbo's swag..lol...
Buhari is saying , "look driver , don't over speed and please button your shirt. I have always warned you about this big stomach - you may die prematurely if you don't watch your diet."

PapaBrowne: For all I care, Yorubas and Igbos are in a deep love relationship!!
You know that husband and wife that argues about everything in the day time and then at night they go to bed and produce babies all night long!!
Thas the exact case. They love themselves so much, they cant do without each other. But they argue about everything including who the children like better or who is finer than who just to say I'm more superior!!

Lovely relationship. You can't seperate these two.
The beautiful thing is they never get to fight!!

Yoruba and Igbo!!
try telling that to benjamin adekunle the scorpion

If my driver has the same body language like Ojukwu in that picture then it means i'm the driver and he's the boss. A driver runs to his boss to collect the keys and not wait fro his boss to bring them.

On a more serious note, there's nothing wrong with Buhari respecting his elder just like there's nothing wrong with Tinubu bowing to Buhari. It's just a sign of respect. Let people learn to give honour and respect to whom it's due.

honeric01: Inferiority complex, trying to prove a worth by all means...HMMMMMMMM
Would someone tell this broke ape to stick to his petty Forex trading? I see you have changed your profile picture. I was just about to do what I did last time, post a picture of you on the thread, and show everyone just how you look like a shaved ape wearing his trainers 1960's coat. Btw, what does "trying to prove A worth" mean? Your are as smart as an ape suffering from down syndrome.Don't even protest it. . . . You'd be lying to yourself.

This is exactly how to treat d blood stained hands of an incorigible blood sucking bigot. Tinubu shud come and learn, cos even upright northern politicians do not see god in buhari like tinubu did. Buhari is d hero of touts, disgruntled, and unfortunate fanatic notherners, buhari is anoda word for a person cursed by blood to perpetually loose. No matter how nice he choses to dress, we know maggots ar already crawling on his skin for his evil dids in the name of religion.

looking at the picture

Analyzation tells us Buhari is trying to shake Ojukwu's hand while ojuwku is avoiding those hands. I don't blame him sha why would he, ojukwu, shake hand with a known terrorist supporters all because of presidency. Smart move on Ojukwu's side.
