Often especially on nairaland, most things about Opobo has been about the drag between the Igbos and Ijaws but today as Opobo takes a step further towards its destiny, all lovers of the Kingdom ought to be happy.

For the 18 years reign of King Jaja (Senior), the Kingdom flourished becoming the then most important city state in what was then known as the bight of Biafra, the exit of King Jaja from Bonny lead to the dwindling of Bonny’s importance, however for some political especially crude oil politics, Bonny rose to a significant influence in modern Nigeria but Opobo seem to be bouncing back really quick.

I first heard about the Opobo marathon last two years, hoping to witness this/next year marathon over there, the Opobo marathon has people from all over Nigeria including others from neighboring African countries, Hanadjan won the male competition while Chidimma won the female, I happen to have met Hanadjan once, in fact anyone who was present in the GoUNI marathon in Enugu must have seen Hanadjan, I think he came second or third in Enugu.

Opobo is a very beautiful Kingdom with rich history now that they are taking their pride of place in the map through the empowerment of the society through the energetic youth, all lovers of Opobo ought to celebrate.

Thankful to the people of Opobo especially King Jaja (Junior) and the Queen that was present during the event.

Don't worry about my baby Mama's bro. I already placed five of them in envious positions. They are living upper middle class life .
I met this girl in question when her madam sent her to deliver a cake for my son's birthday.

From an apprentice, she owns a catering school now after having my child. I recently helped her to sign the documents of a land she purchased for expanding her business. So you know.

Maybe now I can say that looks like a women empowerment scheme with security in form of a child, if you being real and make your concubines life better, I’m not in position to judge, I know you could be playing around but I know somewhere under the sun the sort of things happen, I always believe in people doing what they believe in, in this life just once in a blue moon, we figure out that what can’t be explained nor accepted today could be desirable later, humanity and the entire society is still evolving, just be happy and try be there for your women and kids that’s all, I plan to visit Opobo this year though maybe I find my own respectful girl lol.
